A woman who works as a ‘nanny for rich people’ opens up about what it’s really like to work for a wealthy family – while revealing the incredible benefits she gets as part of her job.

Callie, 30, who is a nanny to three young boys in Austin, Texas, regularly documents her daily work life in a series on TikTok, where her followers are often impressed by the lavish lifestyle she gets to enjoy as a result of her job.

‘Being a babysitter for rich people? The best thing ever,” said Callie, who was a former teacher, in a recent TikTok video, which has been around for more than 6.1 million times.

β€œListen to my day,” she beamed. ‘First things first, watched an episode of Paw Patrol.

“After Hampton and I dropped his brothers off at school, we went to Starbucks and got a little fall drink and a little piece of cake, and then we met my personal trainer,” she continued.

Next, Callie and her youngest boss Hampton went to a retirement home to volunteer, with the nanny revealing that the pair enjoyed spending time with some “little old ladies.”

β€œWe sang, we danced, we bought flowers for the old ladies,” she explained. “After that we went straight home for a three-hour nap.”

Then the cleaners came to clean the house and someone came to do the laundry.

β€œ(Then) we pick up (Hampton’s) brothers from school. We’re going to go through Chick-fil-A, get them a little snack, and then I’m going to go home.”

In another video, Callie explained what the family pays for while answering some frequently asked questions.

“The number one question I get is, ‘Are they paying for everything?'” she shared in a follow-up clip, before sharing what the family she cares for covers.

“Yes, I have their credit card,” she shared, mentioning that she will use it to pay for everything related to the kids β€” including meeting a babysitter friend for breakfast and them giving her a work car to use and refuel.

Talking about what a day in her life is like at work, Callie said that after she and Hampton drop his brothers off at school, she and Hampton sometimes meet other babysitters for breakfast.

She then explained that she is “paid between $30 and $35 an hour, depending on the number of children she cares for.”

“One more question,” she continued. ‘Which is a strange question: why do I wear clothes like that?

“I don’t wear funny clothes,” she said. β€œIt’s just by the time I make a TikTok, I’m destroyed from the day.”

Callie added that the parents of the boys she cared for know she posts on TikTok β€” and they’re okay with it.

Many TikTok users commented on Callie’s babysitting, many raving about their skills and obvious enthusiasm for the job.

“I really think they’re not rich people, they’re people who appreciate what you do for their family,” one person said.

Others said they were also babysitters – and loved it.

‘I’m also a babysitter for rich people! I’m now with my third family in 8 years… it’s the best job ever,” said another.

Sharing details about babysitting for the rich and famous has been a big hit on TikTok, with users using the app to lift the veil on the reality of being an au pair for the super-rich – and shedding light on the luxurious benefits that inherently come with are at the function.

This nanny’s working holidays take place on private yachts, flying on a private jet, VIP access to theme parks and meals prepared by private chefs can all be part of a day’s work, they reveal.

One example is Ginger Rose Smith, 27, who recently shared a video about her experiences as a nanny for a Middle Eastern royal family who spent time in Los Angeles. It taught her β€œhow the richest of the rich live,” she reveals.

The most luxurious experience she had was when she accompanied the family on a trip to the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park.

β€œI’ve seen the one percent attend these types of experiences,” she says, adding, β€œWe had a personal guide (and) got to go to the front of the line.”
