Illinois-based Mike Haracz, who worked with the franchise until 2019, used TikTok to reveal the secrets
He explained how a lucky few can get their hands on a burger with an egg on top, but only if they have the right timing.
In the clip, which has been viewed thousands of times, Mike can be seen sitting in his car speaking directly into the camera to answer a user comment that reads, “Chef, isn’t there some sort of secret menu item that is sold between breakfast and lunch?’
He begins, “Yeah, I think some people call it the 10:35 a.m. burger, where you can get a burger with an egg on it.
“The chances of that happening … you have to be familiar with the restaurant, you have to know the crew, maybe know the manager, because that’s not normally on the menu – but I think they can.”
The former chef continues, “The funny thing is, I’ve wanted eggs on burgers for a long time, especially at an all-day breakfast.
“Again, I had data showing that people wanted an egg on their burgers, but I was vetoed by all powers – be it operations or marketing.
“People just didn’t want me to do nice things, I guess.
“A lot of people want an egg on the burger, McDonald’s won’t do that, so hopefully you should try at 10:35.”
Other social media users quickly agreed that this would be the perfect combination.
