I’m a Five Guys super fan and my hack can get you a free cheeseburger
- A TikTok video shows you how to get free toppings on the chain
- It then explains how to wrap up a second cheeseburger absolutely free
- Five Guys tends to be a more expensive option than other fast food chains
A Five Guys superfan has taken to TikTok to explain how to get a cheeseburger completely free.
User Hellthy Junk Food unveiled a hack for how customers can buy one cheeseburger from the beloved fast-food chain — and throw in another.
A regular cheeseburger costs customers an average of $7.69, but customization is one of the things that make the brand particularly appealing.
Diners can choose from 15 complimentary toppings, combining them any way they like to create their dream meal.
In the video, HellthyJunkFood explains how you can take advantage of the free toppings to make your free cheeseburger.

“At Five Guys, a cheeseburger comes standard with two patties and all of their toppings are free,” HellthyJunkFood said in the video.
“Next time you go to Five Guys, order a cheeseburger with all the toppings on the side and ask for an extra bun.” Extra sandwiches are free,” he explained.
“Now when you get home you’ll have all your toppings neatly aside and with your extra bun you can dress both burgers just the way you like.”
Although a beloved food chain, Five Guys tends to be a more expensive option than other fast food outlets.
A disgruntled woman was shocked when she was charged $74 for an order and asked on TikTok “when did Five Guys become a five-star restaurant?”
User RetailCheapskate revealed in a video that has more than 2.9 million views that she was charged $74 for an order of four burgers, two fries, and drinks.
Her receipt stated that the woman ordered two “small” cheeseburgers, two regular fries, two bacon cheeseburgers, a large soda, and three regular sodas.

Prices vary across the country, but a bacon cheeseburger would cost you a whopping $13.09 at New York’s Times Square restaurant, while regular fries cost $6.69.
McDonald’s fries, on the other hand, usually cost around $3.
Earlier this year, the chain, which was founded in 1986 in Arlington County, Virginia, explained why its prices are higher than other fast food chains.
Speak against The Rakyat Postexplained Iain Ross-Mackenzie, Director Of Operations-APAC at Five Guys International, that the fresh ingredients and the fact that customers can customize their orders to the extreme are some of the reasons behind the brand’s pricing.
He added that the company also specializes in providing an all-American experience, which is why the menu is the same all over the world.
‘The customer’s choice is very important to us. We want to put control back in the consumer’s pocket,” said Ross-Mackenzie.
The way the brand sources its ingredients also adds to the price tag at the box office. “Nothing in the store is frozen. We only use fresh ingredients,’ he explains.
