A dating expert has revealed how to spot controlling men by asking them about their stance on cats – and adds that their response can be very telling.

In a viral video, which has been viewed more than 959,000 times to date, she shared her theory.
She captioned the clip: “Thoughts on this theory?! I want to know what you think!’
“The next time you go on a date, ask the guy this question,” she said at the beginning of the clip.
She added, “So I have a theory that if a man responds very strongly to this question, it’s a sign that he doesn’t like things he has no control over, which could be a red flag (and mean) that he a control freak who likes to have everything under control, and doesn’t like unpredictable things.’
The dating pro then advised viewers to ask their crush what they thought about cats.
She suggested not to do it in an obvious way and not even let them know if you have a cat.
