I’m A Celebrity’s Maura Higgins displays her jaw-dropping figure in black bikini as she exfoliates with an old sock in the jungle shower

Maura Higgins showed off her incredible figure as she exfoliated with an old sock in the shower on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Tuesday.

The former Love Island star, 34, faced her worst fear of spiders in the Bushtucker Trial Fright At The End of The Tunnel.

And when she returned to camp with Loose Women presenter Jane Moore, Maura wanted to wash away the trauma of the trial.

The Irish beauty looked sensational as she donned a black bikini to hop in the infamous jungle shower.

Ahead of her arrival in the jungle, Maura admitted to MailOnline that she ‘didn’t think much about jumping in the jungle shower’, made famous by Myleene Klass’ white bikini moment in 2006.

She teased that it could be more chaos than sexy, joking: “I mean, I’d probably fall over and break my leg.” That’s probably what happened to me.

‘I packed my bikinis, but I didn’t really think about it. I’m a little concerned that the water is ice cold.

“I hate cold water, so I could be the girl who doesn’t shower all the time.”

In previous years, Vicky Pattison, Myleene Klass and Jorgie Porter have been among those who braved the icy waterfall in skimpy swimwear.

As Maura and Jane made their way to the Trial clearing, Ant and Dec were waiting for them, and Ant had an observation for them based on the Fright Bus the night before, saying, “You guys are probably the most screaming bunch of celebrities we’ve ever had on this show!’

Ant and Dec explained what to expect and told them that the process involved two tunnels: one above ground and one underground.

The celebrity above ground would have to find the secret code words hidden in their tunnel, and read them to the celebrity below ground who would be underwater and use the code words to unlock the stars.

Maura took the above ground tunnel and Jane took the underwater tunnel.

With 12 minutes to collect 12 stars, the horn sounded and Maura had to move through the tunnels, looking for hidden code words in the sand on the floor of each section, while being accompanied in each section by a different guest, including toads, lizards and her biggest fear: spiders.

Maura almost stripped off for her birthday as she celebrated her 34th birthday with a freezing jungle shower on Monday

Meanwhile, Jane swam through the water tunnels, but struggled with the water element when her goggles fogged up and she struggled to keep her head underwater for the time it took to unlock the stars.

In the end Jane and Maura won 6 out of 12 stars for the camp, and were praised by Ant and Dec who said: ‘That was a very, very tough test so I think you did remarkably well, you both must be very proud.’

On the way back, an emotional Maura became teary as she had overcome her fears.

Maura is expected to earn around £1.5million from brand deals thanks to her I’m A Celebrity stint.

The reality star, who celebrated her birthday in the jungle during Monday’s episode, is among the favorites to be named Queen of the Jungle after arriving late to camp last week.
