Danielle Harold was reportedly almost forced to quit I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! due to a secret health scare.
The EastEnders actress, 31, lasted more than two weeks in the jungle before becoming the fifth campmate to be eliminated in the public vote on Thursday.
However, it is claimed that Danielle almost had to leave the ITV show early after a doctor was called in to treat her for an infection.
Grace Dent and Jamie Lynn Spears both quit the show early for medical reasons, but Danielle is said to have refused to do the same.
Danielle, best known for her role as Lola Pearce in EastEnders, reportedly almost lost a stone as she battled a 'nasty' infection off-camera.

They told the publication: 'Danielle fell ill at the start of the show and got a really nasty infection which left her very unwell.
'It was all kept off camera and she just kept working. Danielle was seen several times by the camp doctor.'
Danielle reportedly “really struggled” for a few days during her first week in the Australian jungle due to her illness, but medics kept an eye on her until she got better.
MailOnline has contacted Danielle's representatives for comment. ITV declined to comment.
It comes after Danielle revealed she was awkwardly snubbed by one of her campmates before they appeared on the show together.
In an Instagram clip shared after her elimination, Danielle confessed that Sam Thompson had not followed her on social media before moving to camp.

Danielle confessed that Sam Thompson didn't follow her on social media before she moved to camp. Despite the blunder, the pair formed a very close friendship on the show
Asked about her immediate plans after leaving the jungle, Danielle said: 'The first person I'm going to follow on social media is Tony Bellew. Tony is the best man ever! He's just great.'
She continued, “By the way, I already follow Sam, but he doesn't follow me back!” but the user who managed Sam's account in his absence quickly replied, “Consider it done.”
Despite the awkward blunder, Danielle and Sam formed a very close bond during their time in the jungle and started calling each other 'brother' and 'sister'.
Danielle also tipped Sam to be crowned King of the Jungle in Sunday's final: 'He's the most amazing guy, my best friend in there and we just had the absolute best time. We didn't stop laughing the whole way.”
All the eliminated celebrities so far have backed Sam Thompson to win the 2023 series as he has won over campmates and fans alike with his enthusiasm and bubbly personality.
