I’m A Celebrity winner Danny Jones looks set to eclipse ‘loaded’ bandmate Tom Fletcher’s earnings as he adds to McFly’s multi-million pound empire

Danny Jones has become the second McFly star to win I’m A Celebrity after being crowned King Of The Jungle last week.

Although he won’t receive a cash prize for his achievement, he is said to have paid between £100 and £150,000 for his jungle stint.

Winning the show could also open up a whole host of new opportunities for the star, just as it did for his bandmate Dougie Poynter when he was crowned in 2011.

Although Danny already has an estimated fortune of £4 million, brand expert Nick Ede predicts he can increase his income by £1.5 million over the next year with ‘advertising deals, personal appearance fees and hosting jobs’.

By doing this he could overtake the income of bandmate Tom Fletcher – who Danny previously described as the richest member.

During a conversation in the Jungle, Danny confessed: ‘Tom’s Load’, noting that the frontman had written their hit single All About You.

So where does Danny stand now against his McFly bandmates? MailOnline takes a look at the dazzling power of one of Britain’s most successful pop-punk bands.

Danny Jones – Over £5.5 million

While Danny may have stormed to victory on I’m A Celebrity, it was previously reported that he was called up at the last minute as a replacement for Tommy Fury, who pulled out of the line-up.

Before entering the Jungle, his net worth was said to be £4million, but with an estimated £1.5million payday on the horizon, it looks set to eclipse that in the coming months.

As a member of McFly, Danny built an impressive fortune, with the band selling more than 10 million records worldwide and scoring seven number one singles.

He was also previously listed as a director of the now defunct firm McBusted LLP as part of McBusted, a partnership between McFly and Busted.

The musician, who is married to former Miss England beauty queen Georgia Horsley, is also a partner in Super Records LLP with his McFly bandmates.

The company was founded in 2008 and handles McFly’s business activities as a band, and held just £19,000 in assets last year.

Danny has also been a regular on TV screens in recent years, as a judge on both The Voice Kids and the adult version, where he joined bandmate Tom as part of the show’s first ever coaching duo.

In February, Danny was revealed as the winner of The Masked Singer after winning over the audience dressed as Piranha.

Tom Fletcher – £4 million

‘Loaded’ bandmate Tom is said to have made his fortune writing some of the band’s biggest hits, including ‘Clubly’ and ‘Five Colors in Her Hair’.

The talented Tom is also behind three hits from fellow band Busted, including the number one single Crashed The Wedding and the official song On A Rainbow of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

As well as writing songs, the father of three also enjoys writing novels and has a range of children’s books.

In 2021, Tom took part in Strictly Come Dancing with Amy Dowden, but they became the eighth couple to be eliminated from the competition.

Last year it was revealed that Tom is working on the music for the upcoming Paddington: The Musical, which will premiere in the UK next year.

As well as raking in his own huge income, Tom’s wife, influencer Giovanna Fletcher, appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2020 and won the show.

Dougie Poynter – £2.4 million

Although he found fame with McFly in 2004, it was Dougie’s appearance on I’m A Celebrity in 2011 that made him a star in his own right.

The musician narrowly took the crown with 55 percent of the votes, but took advantage of his newfound fame by releasing a series of children’s novels.

Dougie also launched three clothing companies: Zookie, which has since been sold, and the now defunct Saint Kidd and Polonius.

In addition to success with McFly and McBusted, Dougie also had a brief stint with alt-rock band INK in 2018.

Harry Judd – £3.4 million

Days after Dougie was crowned King of the Jungle, Harry also had reason to celebrate when he won Strictly Come Dancing.

Harry proved his win was no fluke and four years later he picked up the Glitterball again when he took part in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

That same year, Harry married his wife Izzy, a professional violinist who was reportedly worth more than £1 million alone.

Last year, Harry’s mother Emma was also in the spotlight when they worked together on Celebrity Race Across the World, where they finished in second place.

This summer, the singer enjoyed a brief radio stint when he took over from Ronan Keating as host of Magic Radio’s Breakfast alongside Harriet Scott.
