Speaking ahead of his win, Danny said: ‘It was a lot harder. I hope it comes across on TV, but it’s really difficult. You are tired, lethargic and hungry.

‘I have been my true self and showed what only those close to me see.

‘I have learned how valuable time is with loved ones. I always give so much priority to my work, but I think I need to get out and practice that, time is precious.”

‘What this jungle does is give you perspective on your life. I personally learned something, I come out of this jungle with something that taught me something about myself.
