I’m a Celebrity: The unfortunate sexual ‘side effect’ of life in the jungle
I’m a Celebrity star Woody Whitelaw reveals the weird sexual ‘side effect’ of living in the jungle – and all men suffered
The campers of I’m a Celebrity are known to experience some unusual physical effects while living in the harsh conditions of the South African jungle.
And Woody Whitelaw, who was booted from the show on Wednesday, has lifted the lid on a problem the male contestants were experiencing after several weeks.
The radio host, 35, revealed on Jase & Lauren from KIIS FM he completely lost his libido in the jungle – and he wasn’t alone.
“This may be a little TMI, but interestingly enough, I had these conversations with a lot of the guys in camp — and this didn’t make the TV show — but the libido completely went away,” he said.
Woody explained that, ironically, he didn’t wake up in the morning with “wood” like he normally does.

Several campmates lost massive amounts of weight after living on rice and beans in the jungle for weeks, with Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins losing 8 kg by the time he was eliminated, and Peter Helliar 7.5 kg.
After leaving the jungle, Woody said the first thing he did was replenish his body with some food.
“For the past six hours I’ve just stuffed my face with so much food. It would be really extraordinary to witness that,” he said.

“I went straight to the supermarket and got a 700 gram jar of peanut butter and I just dipped cookies in peanut butter for four hours.
“I know how you feel right now when you’re an emotional wreck. It only took me 27 days in the jungle to feel how you feel.’
The KIIS FM drive presenter welcomed his first child, a little girl named Remi, six months ago with his partner Mimi.
He said he had missed them terribly early in the jungle and they were on their way to meet him in South Africa on Thursday morning.
‘I missed my six month old daughter Remi and my partner Mim a lot. It happened much sooner than I expected,” he said.

‘Mim is miraculously on his way to Africa, as we speak, with the bub. I think she’s a little crazy.
“I just spoke to her two hours ago because she’s in Singapore where she had a little layover and apparently the first half of the flight was terrible.
“Just when I thought I’d get some sympathy from my partner by spending 27 days in the jungle, she probably did even worse on one international flight with a six-month-old baby.
“Huge advantage from me, we’re just getting an epic vacation in South Africa because I’m out.”
