I’m A Celebrity star set to replace Richard Arnold on GMB
She’s been keeping busy after her stint on the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here jungle in Australia last month.
And Scarlette Douglas will now replace Richard Arnold on Good Morning Britain as the show’s entertainment correspondent.
After a flurry of success since the ITV show ended, Scarlette, 35, has announced that she will step into the shoes of the legendary presenter over the festive period.

The TV presenter shared the announcement on her Instagram Story, saying: “I probably shouldn’t have told you yet in case they decide they don’t want me anymore.”
“But yeah, I’m going to cover the legend that is Richard Arnold on GMB, the Entertainment section, Good Morning Britain. In fact, I’m going to cover the festive period. Amazing!
She added: ‘The past week, actually, ever since I came back from the jungle, things have been crazy.
“So now I have my own segment on Lorraine, I’m covering Christmas for Richard Arnold on GMB, I’m going to have my own radio show on Heart for Christmas Eve. I’m going to be on Soccer AM! Oh my gosh, there’s so much going on!
Christmas holidays: Following a flurry of success since the ITV show ended, Scarlette, 35, has announced that she will step into the legendary presenter’s shoes over the festive period.
Scarlette, who finished 10th on the ITV show, has a lot of industry experience having presented A Place In The Sun since 2015, as well as the home makeover show Love It Or List It, as well as being a guest presenter on Jeremy I came from Channel 5.
But while the job is good, she admitted that some of her friendships from the show have worn thin.
Despite being close to radio legend Chris Moyles in the Australian countryside, Scarlette Douglas has revealed that Chris cheated on her after spending almost three weeks together.
The television presenter has been sending messages to the radio host, 48, but she has not responded to his voicemails.
A Place In The Sun’s Scarlette told host Johnny Seifert that Chris is too busy to reply to his messages on Secure The Insecure podcast.
Perfect for the role: Scarlette has a lot of experience in the industry and has hosted A Place In The Sun since 2015, as well as the home improvement show Love It Or List It.
She explained, “So Chris and I had met on the Ant and Dec Tour, so when I saw it, I was like, I’ve met you before.” We have a mutual friend, I’m the voice of Capital Xtra and you’re on Radio X next to the Capital Xtra studio And he says: No way. So we had a really good bond since we were there.
‘And then, as we’re out, I text him and he doesn’t really text me back. So if you’re listening, Chris, can you respond to my voice note?
Scarlette added, “I think he’s actually busy.” And he actually has a life outside of me sending voice notes. But when we were there, we had this thing. So we both love the Hunger Games.
‘So we randomly whistled the theme well, obviously a little better than that with the whistle. And we would do that to each other all the time. And that was our thing. So I just send him voice notes during that hiss, and then he just doesn’t hear them.
Ghosted: The 35-year-old TV presenter has been texting the 48-year-old radio host but has not responded to his voicemails.
Meanwhile, as her TV hosting career is taking off, Scarlette admitted last week that she now hopes to follow in Boy George’s footsteps by transitioning from TV hosting to a career in music.
He revealed that he has been writing his own songs for years and may even record a single in 2023.
On the prospect of launching his music career, he said Sun: ‘I would like to. As long as people took me seriously, I would make sure to make good music.’
‘I come from a musical background and have always sung and danced. Maybe I’ll release an EP’.
She added: ‘I love entertainment, singing and dancing. As much as I love real estate development, I would love to do more entertainment shows.’
