I’m a Celebrity fans left shocked as frontrunner for the win is eliminated

I’m a Celebrity fans were shocked when the controversial front runner was eliminated – but other viewers are thrilled with the decision: ‘Tidy is neat!’

Domenica Calarco was voted out of the jungle on Sunday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.

The Married At First Sight star was a divisive contestant, but many saw her as a frontrunner to win.

Dom took on Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry and AFL legend Adam Cooney, but the men survived to see another day.

Viewers shared their thoughts on the eviction with many baffled but others happy with the result.

“Loved Dom on MAFS but yeah I had to go,” one fan wrote on Twitter, alongside a handclap emoji.

‘Thank God! Cleaned up is stupid!’ added another while another said, ‘YESSSSSS finally! Sorry Dom, don’t mind, but prefer the others.

‘I didn’t see that coming! Can’t say I wasn’t hoping for it (nothing personal), but I didn’t think Dom would go at this point,” another joked, while others said, “Yay!!!”

However, some viewers were saddened to see Dom leave the series.

“I’m devastated that Domenica is leaving the jungle – she’s an amazing lady,” one viewer wrote.

‘Wow! I thought Dom would have moved on!’ added another while yet another wrote, “The ladies are dwindling and I’m not happy at all.”

“I am genuinely shocked that Dom has been eliminated. I really thought they were preparing her for the final,” said another viewer at home.

Dom looked disappointed, but the decision said her intuition told her it would be her to leave.

“I had a feeling today. I actually had a feeling,” she insisted, hugging her campmates goodbye.

“I just want to say, I had the best time ever, guys. Crush it! Enjoy the last six days and see you all at the end of this,” she added.

Dom discussed her experience in her exit interview, saying, “Today I strangely felt like my time was up.

“I think yesterday when I overcame a huge fear of mine I felt, okay, my time here is over, I’ll be happy to leave when I do. Of course I would have loved to have won and had that money for my charity,” she added.

Dom continued, “I’m a completely different woman. I leave the jungle a better person. Maybe a few pounds lighter.

“I have learned so many lessons. I have met incredible people that I will call my friends for life.

“I just think, I know for myself now that I’m so much stronger than I thought I was. That’s a huge lesson. I will be eternally grateful for that.’
