I’m A Celeb South Africa: ‘Rules are rules!’ Fatima Whitbread smokes after the food is compromised by the campmates’ contraband… but viewers are left in awe by their antics

Fans of I’m A Celebrity were amused by Thursday night’s contraband controversy.

After Amir Khan won 10 stars in the Supermarket Shriek trial, the celebrities in the main camp would get a delicious meal.

But the dinner was jeopardized after it became known that there was some contraband in the camp that had to be handed in an amnesty box.

Gillian McKeith, who also smuggled prohibited goods into the camp in her previous series, brought salt and 85 tea bags, which she took from her pockets and bra.

Meanwhile, Paul Burrell was drinking coffee and Myleene Klass was carrying salt.

oh oh! Fans of I’m A Celebrity South Africa were amused by controversy over contraband and Fatima Whitbread was angry after Thursday’s dinner was jeopardized over prohibited items

Fatima Whitbread was left furious after the shocking announcement was made about the banned goods – and gave a candid speech to the campmates.

“I don’t agree with people being knocked off the hook,” she raged. ‘Rules are rules!’

However, the incident left I’m A Celeb fans in awe and they took to Twitter to express their amusement.

One person said, “Oh my god Gillian” while another added, “Did Gillian SERIOUSLY think she was going to get away with salt and tea bags in her bra?”

Another person commented, “My boobs make almonds and mints?” What planet is this woman on?’

A separate tweet showed a picture of an angry Fatima with the words: ‘Someone is not a happy bunny…’

Elsewhere, someone else added, “MYLENE DON’T INSERT HERBS ALSO.”

Others also expressed their hilarity, writing, “Jesus, how many took stuff in there” and “Gillian is like Mary Poppins getting tea and almonds from everywhere.”

But not everyone was impressed by the hijinks and one person said, “I’m with Fatima, actually I think anyone who takes stuff should be removed from the camp.”

It comes after I’m a celebrity; South African fans were frustrated on Thursday night’s episode as they claimed Myleene’s first trial was rigged in her favour.

In the challenge, which pitted Myleene against Andy Whyment for a chance to go to main camp, both celebrities had their heads in tubes.

They had to answer general knowledge questions posed by presenters Ant & Dec and were sprayed with bugs and other abominations for every wrong answer.

Myleene managed to win the test 4-1 and went to the main camp to join the other stars.

But viewers took to Twitter to claim that the beauty was given easier questions and that the challenge was set up for her to win.

One person wrote, “Myleene shouldn’t have gotten “Fuma” as the correct answer.”

Another said, “How easy were her questions compared to his?” while a third added, “Does anyone else think the game was rigged in Myleene’s favor?”

An odd person wrote, “Myleene swaps places with Phil.”

Elsewhere someone else said, “That trial was either 100% rigged or she’s very yummi.”

It comes after I’m a celebrity: South African fans were shocked by Georgia Toffolo’s ‘brutal’ first court case on Wednesday night’s episode.

The star, also known as Toff, was one of the show’s latecomers, along with Myleene and Andy, and was chosen by the other 10 celebrities to gain stars.

In the process, dubbed Hell Hole, Georgia had to descend a pit and crawl through the confined space, searching for stars while surrounded by bugs and other horrors.

And despite some screaming and panic about the conditions she found herself in, she managed to gain eight stars and make her way to the main camp.
