I’m A Celebrity: Carol Vorderman admits she ‘didn’t like’ her campmate Janice Dickinson

I’m A Celebrity’s Carol Vorderman has confessed how she didn’t get along with her campmate Janice Dickinson at camp in South Africa.

The former Countdown whiz, 62, was knocked out with Paul Burrell as they both narrowly missed out on the final, after Janice, 68, had to leave the show due to injury.

In comments shared after her departure on Thursday, Carol wasn’t shy about candidly revealing which campmates she got along with and which she didn’t.

Meanwhile, former royal butler Paul, 64, claimed Janice had left the I’m A Celebrity All Stars WhatsApp group after allegedly falling out with her co-stars.

Carol shared how she struggled to bond with former model Janice, who she claimed was not doing her job and would “screech” at everyone from her bed all day long.

Carol told The mirror: ‘I got on well with everyone except Janice, I didn’t like Janice. She would sit on a bed and scream all day and I don’t like that.’

The star said everyone was “nice” to her in the first few days before the cracks started to show, with Andy Whyment clashing with Janice during the pre-recorded show.

Carol said, “I couldn’t have been more encouraging, but then she just started playing the reality TV game, which isn’t my scene at all, so she just sat there and sounded like a goddamn seagull.”

She also claimed that Janice was not doing her job and would just sit in her bed, prompting her to go on an explosive diatribe about her counterpart in the Bush Telegraph.

Elsewhere, Paul also spoke about the alleged split with Janice, claiming she had left the WhatsApp group I’m A Celebrity South Africa.

Princess Diana’s former butler claimed that the celebrities were surprised to see some of their co-stars say things they were unaware of during the broadcast.

And Paul admitted that he had a fight with Janice after she “threw him under the bus” when it was discovered that he had brought coffee into the camp as contraband.

He claimed to have given her a cup of Butler’s Roast every morning, but said she remained completely silent when the issue of contraband came up at the camp.

MailOnline has reached out to Janice’s representatives for comment.

Paul and Janice first met years before I became a celebrity when they both appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2015.

However, neither said they had met before on I’m A Celebrity, with Janice claiming she had no idea who Paul was.

After they were first “introduced” on I’m A Celebrity, Janice said, “I just met two camp mates. They seem like such nice guys. I wish I knew who they were.’

Janice entered Celebrity Big Brother in 2015 on day two, before being evicted on day 27, while Paul appeared on the show as a house guest.

Paul entered the Big Brother house on the sixth day to help with the Big Brother Royal Family task and left three days later.

On Monday, it was announced that Janice had left the I’m A Celebrity camp after suffering an injury when she fell while getting up at night to go to the toilet.

She was taken off on a stretcher and taken to hospital by ambulance to treat her injuries and was not allowed to return to the camp.

During the episode, former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan read a note informing the campmates of Janice’s departure.

Since then, Paul and Carol are the latest stars to be eliminated from camp, just missing out on a place in the finals.

As she departed on Thursday’s episode, Carol said, “I loved it. It’s been so different because people have done it before, so they’re more savvy at it!

‘We’re going back to the hotel now for lobster and champagne! The trials have certainly been tougher.’

While Paul added, “It’s been life-changing and a roller coaster journey.” It will stay with me for the rest of my days!’
