Khanh Ong has revealed the surprisingly long list of contraband he smuggled into the South African jungle.
The MasterChef star was the sixth star to be eliminated from the camp on Tuesday, and he has now reflected on his time in the jungle, known for its grueling conditions.
He told how he managed to smuggle a surprising amount of luxury goods into the camp to make his stay more comfortable, before they were discovered and seized.
Known for his cooking skills, Khanh tried to sneak plenty of snacks into camp for him and his co-stars to enjoy, rather than just the measly food portions of rice and beans.
He told Chattr: ‘I had coffee, I had hot chocolate, I had sugar, salt and milk powder. I had protein powders, I had pre-workout, I had herbal mixes, I had electrolytes, BCAAs and there was just so much chocolate.

‘There were also lollipops, we had nuts, I had so many different types of nuts, all day long I was dropping nuts into people’s hands, while I was cooking I liked to put spices in things to make things more fun to make. tasteful.’
Despite his efforts, he admitted the contraband was eventually taken from them in accordance with the Network Ten show’s strict rules.
He said: ‘When the contraband had to be removed I literally threw everything out, I was like guys just eat what you can, I just have to put the hair dye back in my hair so Australia doesn’t know. that I don’t have naturally pink hair.’
Candice Warner, the second star to be evicted from the show, also revealed she managed to smuggle a packet of sweets into the jungle.

When the talented chef left, the group shared their concerns about how they would handle cooking after relying on his culinary talents.
In his exit interview, Khanh said he enjoyed flexing his creative muscles in the camp kitchen.
Candice Warner, the second star to be evicted from the show, also revealed she managed to smuggle a packet of sweets into the jungle.
‘Most meals were determined by the ingredients I was given. How I made the most flavor with the minimum of ingredients or charring things to create more flavor,” he said.
‘A lot of people helped. I had a sous chef every night. Everyone was happy that I did it because it’s my happy place.’
‘I loved the experience. My campmates were amazing and they will remain friends for life,” Khanh added.
