I’m A Celebrity 2023 lineup ‘leaked’ as NRL great Sam Burgess, comedian Tommy Little and chef Shannon Bennett have a tip for the jungle

The ninth season of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! will premiere on April 2 and there are rumors about which stars will appear.

A recent trailer for the Channel 10 show confirms that a footballer, comedian, boxer and chef have signed up, and now an inside source has weighed in on the possible selections.

‘Rugby league star Sam Burgess would have to be the favourite. And the comedian is either Tommy Little or Peter Helliar,” the source said. New Idea.

They added that celebrity chef Shannon Bennett and champion lightweight boxer Lauryn Eagle were also possible candidates.

“Tommy is one of the last comedians on Ten’s books and they may need to tie up some loose ends with Pete’s contract after he left The Project,” the spy said.

The upcoming season of I’m a Celebrity was filmed in South Africa and will be hosted by Dr. Chris Brown, 44, and Julia Morris, 54.

Last year’s season was won by TV host Dylan Lewis and the runner-up was musician Brooke McClymont.

Others set to appear on the reality show include radio host Abbie Chatfield in 2021 and the late cricketer Shane Warne in 2016.

It comes after I’m a Celeb presenter Dr Chris Brown left Channel 10 after 15 years and signed with rival network Channel Seven.

However, he has already committed to this year’s season of the jungle-based reality show for Ten and won’t start working on Seven until the second half of 2023.

Celebrity chef Shannon Bennett (pictured) is also a great candidate to appear on the show.
