I'm A Celeb winner Sam Thompson and his best friend Pete Wicks have shared the behind-the-scenes insights of their jungle reunion.

In their podcast Staying Relevant, Sam and Pete talked about his time on the show and the moment they were able to see each other again.

Pete, 35, claimed Sam completely ignored the producer's instructions not to jump on him when they met on the famous jungle bridge.

He revealed that they were both told the bridge was unstable, but Sam took the risk and jumped into Pete's arms after his victory.

The duo also made light of the moment as they joked around, appearing to be intimate and 'dry humping' as they got carried away.

Sam said: 'When Pete met me on the bridge I found out I had won and it looked like we were fucking on the bridge.

Pete added: 'That was weird, I think Sam was dry fucking me but I was dry fucking him, very weird. And it seemed like there was an awful lot of jumping.

He continued, “Yeah, what's the funniest thing about that is before you get a producer who will have said to Sam on the other side of the bridge, Sam should be standing on a star and Pete will come and meet you.” Don't jump.

“They say this to me, don't jump, and I say, well, he's going to jump. They said, we told him not to jump because this bridge is not stable.

Elsewhere on the podcast, Pete responded to any suggestion that he was intimate with the partners of at least two contestants on this year's I'm A Celebrity.

Pete was spotted getting cozy with Danielle Harold, 31, after enjoying a boozy night out with Nick Pickard's girlfriend Sarah Corrin, 39.

Hollyoaks veteran Nick, 48, admitted he 'had a word' with Pete: 'The first thing I said to him was 'did you run off with my bird, you cheeky b****r?!'

Speaking of his and Sam's Stay relevant podcast Pete stated: 'I just want to point out that I didn't s**t anyone's wife.'

His co-host joked, “Pete got connected to everyone.”

King of the Jungle Sam continued: 'He was linked to Sarah's girlfriend – Nick (Pickard), he was linked to Danielle (Harold), he was linked to my friend Zara (McDermott), he was linked to Rochelle (Humes). at a given moment. point'.

The blonde beauty – who was the fifth contestant to be eliminated from the Jungle – later looked around happily as she jumped on Pete's back and cuddled up to him.

'That's the problem with social media, everyone has an opinion. Sam is my brother and Zara is a very good friend of mine. We just laugh about it.'

Insisting he wouldn't date the Love Island star even though they were both single, he continued: 'I absolutely adore Zara but she's not my cup of tea and I don't think she would last five minutes .

Me and Sam couldn't be more different. They are such a great couple and love them so much. It's just sad that people can't understand that girls and boys can be friends. It is ridiculous.'
