I’m A Celeb: Viewers all say the same thing as Toff banishes Shaun Ryder to Savannah Scrub

Georgia Toffolo banned Shaun Ryder from Savannah Scrub during the opening of I’m A Celebrity… South Africa on Thursday.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 28, had been tasked with sending one contestant to the smaller camp with Myleene Klass, 45, and Andy Whyment, 42, after arriving as a latecomer.

But when she announced her decision after much deliberation, all viewers said the same as on Twitter.

Toff claimed she chose the Happy Mondays singer, 60, because he had “a really lovely nap.”

The apologetic star told Shaun as he packed his bags, “I’m so damn sorry. I’m going to make it up to you, I’m sorry.’

But Shaun replied, “I’m made up,” much to her surprise.

She said in the bush telegraph: “Shaun seemed to be okay with it. We haven’t had a conversation before, so I don’t know if he wasn’t bothered or actually furious…probably the latter.’

The Step On hitmaker told the camera, “That’s exactly what it is. Someone had to go and that’s me.’

Fans of the show joked that they weren’t surprised by Conservative Party member Toff’s decision due to her political alliances.

One of them wrote, “#imaceleb Toff choosing Shaun is the start of the class war.”

Another said, “Toff’s picking of Shaun Ryder is the most Tory thing ever. Picking the guy with the bad hip and health issues to put him in worse circumstances. At least she is consistent with her party #ImACelebSouthAfrica #ImACeleb.”

A third wrote, “Toff sending Shaun to camp is Tory behavior.”

Another joked, “Toff sends the man with a cane to a base camp where he has to sleep on the ground. Yeah, sounds like a typical Tory. #ImACeleb.’

Georgia first competed in the reality show in 2017 where she was crowned Queen of the Jungle.

On Thursday’s episode, I’m A Celeb fans were left in awe when Phil Tufnell made a hilarious mistake.

The stars received a note at the South African camp stating that Carol and Phil would take on the next chest challenge.

However, Phil hilariously misheard it for a chess challenge, leading him to think he was going to play a game of chess with Carol Vorderman.

Phil was then corrected by his campmates before admitting he was “gutted” because he is “good at chess.”

Fans were left in hysterics, with one penning on Twitter: “Phil is killing me.”

Another wrote: ‘Phil thought he was on his way to a game of chess’

A third said: ‘Honestly I thought they said chess and not chest’

Another fan commented, ‘I can’t be the only one who heard Chess challenge’

Question of Sport star Phil was crowned King of the Jungle in 2003, beating footballer Josh Fashanu and designer Linda Barker to the coveted title.

Phil tries to grab the crown for a second time as he goes up against other former winners and fan favorites.

The South African show was pre-recorded in South Africa’s Kruger National Park last year and the first episode aired on Monday.

For the first time in 21 years, the show, which kicks off Monday and features an all-star cast, doesn’t end with a Jungle King or Queen — instead with a “Legend.”

The lack of public votes means the stars, including Carol Vorderman, Helen Flanagan and Amir Khan, will be competing against each other and thus not be on their way to royal status – instead they will simply be competing with each other.

A statement from ITV read: ‘Without a public vote, they will go head to head in a battle to become the first ever ‘I’m A Celebrity Legend’.’

It comes after Janice Dickinson and Jordan Banjo got a bum in the worst eating trial ever during Tuesday’s I’m A Celebrity… South Africa.

The former model, 68, and the Diversity star, 30, were given a sheep’s anus, a Hartebeest’s stomach, a bovine’s penis and vagina, a fish’s eye, chicken intestines and ostrich testicles, as well as lamb testicles at the Bush Banquet.

However, they rejected a crocodile anus with molten anus broth and a goat’s lung, before Jordan collapsed and chewed a goat’s anus.

An irate Janice called Geordie presenters Ant & Dec “a**eholes” as they introduced each dish, which had been given creative names like “fish p-eye,” “c**k au v*g” and “spaghetti b* ****k-nese’.

Despite winning five stars, the pair cheated the camp, telling them they got zero to begin with.

In a piece on camera, Jordan confessed, “I was shocked to get some. I expected it to be horrible and it was even worse.

‘We really did our best. I thought we’d get zero.’

She was known for flirting with Declan Donnelly the last time she was in I’m A Celeb…Get Me Out Of Here!

And Janice Dickinson’s time in South Africa appears to be no different as she continued to flirt with Dec during her first Bushtucker trial on Tuesday.

During the eating trial, Janice was served a cow’s tongue and said, “It smells disgusting!”

Dec replied, “If you smell my tongue, it will probably smell disgusting”

Janice joked: ‘I bet it’s not’

On Monday’s launch episode, I was excited to see the presenting duo and ran over to greet them.

As she hugs them, she jokes, “My boyfriends. I missed you so much. You look younger.’

Dec replied, “You too!” You have no idea how excited we are to see you all again.’

When Janice first joined in 2007, she was impressed by the male celebs, except for hosts Ant and Dec.

One of the best sights was seeing the Geordie duo trying to hide their blushes in the face of Janice’s frontal assaults.

After leaving the show, Janice said, “Ant hasn’t called me in a year. Fickle b*****d! Oh, I can’t remember which was which, but I liked them both.

‘Who was the one without the woman? Dec. Oh, I’m still craving little Dec. He’s got that wild look in his eye, believe me. I really wanted to kiss him, he was so hot.

“I’m telling you – give me that little one and I’ll give him a good time.”
