There was outrage on social media on Monday night as Tulisa Contostavlos became the third star to be voted off the current series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The 36-year-old N-Dubz singer, who was widely tipped to reach the latter stages of this year’s competition, was a surprise pick for elimination ahead of bookmakers favorites Barry McGuigan, Alan Halsall and Melvin Odoom.
But while Tulisa took it well, her army of fans reacted poorly to the decision when they contacted social media platform X, formerly Twitter, shortly after her name was announced.
In a series of furious tweets, viewers criticized the show, with some accusing ITV1 producers of orchestrating her departure to give others a better chance of winning.
“This is no longer an established fact… our Tulisa is braver than the Marines, omg, I’m furious about this!!!!!!” one raged. “She deserved to beat everyone in there, it’s bloody cruel.”
A second added: ‘What’s wrong with the public? Tulisa should still be there.”

Elsewhere, a third added: ‘Tulisa is my winner. She doesn’t care about screen time, she’s there to change the cruel media narrative that’s been around for years.
“The hate she gets for her face, without anyone trying to understand what she’s been through, is disgusting.”
Another raged: “WE LOST TULISA THIS EARLY??!!”
Meanwhile, another fan wrote: “I refuse to believe she got less votes than Melvin.”
Leaving the jungle to join presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, she said: “I’m not going to lie, it’s tough in there.”
When asked what she’s learned about herself during her time on the show, she added, “I don’t know, I think you just have to stay strong in your beliefs and be yourself.”
While Tulisa found herself in the bottom two with Oti Mabuse, she insisted the professional dancer is still her winner.
“She is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met in my life,” she said. “She’s my soul sister.”

The star appeared on spin-off show I’m A Celeb Unpacked following her eviction and discussed her time in the competition as she reflected on the dreadful Fright Bus challenge.
She explained: ‘I knew after the night bus that they had roughed me up like a screamer, I had seven huntsman spiders on me at one point.’
She added that she sometimes forgot she was even on TV and continued: ‘I think I was completely myself, I was just being myself and at the end I was completely relaxed.
“I forgot I was on a TV show.”
The singer also teased that N-Dubz will be back with another tour in the near future, as she confessed that she hates hearing her voice.
Tulisa was heard singing several times in the camp, but she admitted: ‘Oh no, you heard me sing. I hate my voice! But we’ll be back soon with a new tour.’
