Coleen Rooney playfully took a swipe at her husband Wayne as she discussed his career as a football manager on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on Wednesday.
The former footballer, 39, is currently the head coach of Plymouth Argyle after retiring from the game in 2017.
Speaking to her fellow campmates, Coleen admitted she feels ‘more pressure’ since Wayne moved from playing to managing.
Danny Jones took the chance to question Coleen about Wayne. Referring to his new role as manager of Plymouth Argyle football club, Danny asked: ‘Does he like to manage?’
Coleen replied: ‘Yes, he enjoys it, but it is difficult. I think it’s more nerve-wracking for him as a manager than me… I feel more pressure.’
Barry Guigan said of Wayne, “Well, he grew up very quickly, didn’t he, he grew up very quickly?”

To which Coleen replied: ‘Well, I don’t know!’ while the camp laughed in response.
Wayne slammed his Plymouth side after their 6-1 win against Norwich as he claimed the club’s Under-18s would have put in a better performance.
Plymouth suffered their heaviest defeat under Wayne at Carrow Road, with a hat-trick from Borja Sainz helping the hosts to a comfortable win.
The Man United and England legend criticized his side after the match and suggested the club’s under-18 side would not have folded so easily.
‘We weren’t nearly good enough. “We are down to the bone with injuries, but that is no excuse,” he said.
“But if players want to get into the team and stay in the team, they have to perform better than that.
‘We were lucky that we were only 2-1 behind at half time. You hope for a response in the second half, but once it became 3-1 I thought we were going down and that is very disappointing.
“The players just didn’t look like they thought they could get back into it.

‘I could probably put on the under-18 team and they wouldn’t concede six goals, so I’m very disappointed, angry and frustrated and the next 24 to 48 hours won’t be very fun for the players.
“But we really need to get to the bottom of why this is happening.”
The result leaves Plymouth two points outside the relegation places for the Championship, while the club has yet to win away from home this season.
The defeat was another heavy defeat on the road, with Wayne also overseeing a 4-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday and a 5-0 loss to Cardiff.
It comes after Wayne appeared on I’m A Celebrity spin-off show Unpacked on Sunday night, where he spoke about Coleen’s period.
“It’s strange to be honest seeing her out there in the jungle,” Wayne said. ‘She is doing a great job and showing her character and personality. She makes us all proud.”
The former England footballer added that viewers will get to see the real Coleen.
‘She is a warm and caring person. It’s great to see how she bridges the gap between the elderly and the young and feels at home.’

The couple has been married for 16 years and has four sons; Kai, 15, and Klay, 11, Kit and Cass
When asked how much he and their four boys Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit and Cass missed her, Wayne admitted it was hard.
“It’s the longest I’ve gone without her since we were kids,” he revealed.
Wayne also gave an insight into how the family cares for their four sons as he works in Plymouth while the boys live in Cheshire.
He said: “Coleen’s parents are a huge help. I’m in Plymouth for work so we have a good team looking after the kids, but yes, we miss her.’
Wayne added that he hoped Coleen would take on one of the show’s infamous challenges, saying: ‘I’d love to see her do a trial. That’s what going out is all about: testing yourself.
“She would be very good in the trials, and it would be great for her to have that experience.”
The football legend also confessed that he and the rest of the family are big fans of the show and that he wouldn’t mind appearing.
“We watch it most years when we can. The celebrity version is the one we always said we would do.
“Maybe someday I would try it when I’m not working, but that’s not possible right now.”
