I’m A Celeb: Kerri-Anne Kennerley quits after being called ‘a self-centered bastard’

Kerri-Anne Kennerley sensationally quit I’m A Celebrity… Get me out of here! on Thursday after Domenica Calarco of Married At First Sight labeled her “the most self-absorbed b**** she’s ever met” during a fiery argument.

The 69-year-old TV presenter came to an end after just four days in the South African jungle.

The drama unfolded when Kerri-Anne and Domenica took part in a food challenge alongside former Australian Idol judge Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson, radio host Woody Whitelaw, where they had to eat testicles to win the dinner for the rest of the group.

Domenica Calarco of Married At First Sight labeled Kerri-Anne Kennerley as “the most egocentric bitch she’s ever met” after the pair had a fiery argument in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

In the challenge, a tennis racket was placed in the center of a table and spun, whoever it landed on had to eat a testicular delight.

At the end of the challenge, the team was offered 13 stars if they all ate a kudu ball.

But Kerri-Anne was having none of it causing Dom to turn on her and call her “the most self-centered person she’d ever met.”

The other celebs urged her to try the ball, saying it “tasted just like meatballs” and “wasn’t that bad.”

But Kerri-Anne was having none of it and even offered Dom her make-up if she would eat it in her place, sparking anger from the MAFS star.

The TV presenter, 69, decided to leave the show after just three days following the 30-year-old reality star’s spray

“Oh, Miss Big contract lady, I can’t tell you what to do,” Dom said.

“I don’t want your 1989 lipstick. It’s not fair to anyone who tries. Why are you here, bro, legit, why are you here?

‘[You] literally no respect or decency for anyone but yourself. I’ve never met anyone so self-centered in my life,” she added.

When she returned to camp, Kerri-Anne said Dom’s “abuse” was “overwhelming.”

“To be called the most self-centered bitch she’s ever met. And again and again the contract queen. I would have ended if she would have ended. It would never happen,” she said in tears.

Domenica Calarco wasn’t happy with Kerri-Anne Kennerley on Tuesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! after discovering that she is allowed to take makeup into the jungle

Angered at having to do three trials in a row, Kerri-Anne told her campmates she was leaving.

However, when Dicko, Dom and Woody returned to camp, they told a different version of events.

“So KAK and I obviously hadn’t had a racket spinning at us at all at this point. Finally they said OK, the next part of this task is worth eight stars,’ Dom explained.

It was pretty clear that Kerri-Anne wasn’t going to try. So then there was a bit of a stalemate as there was no point in Dom and Dicko eating their testicle.

“At least I had a bite to say ‘Kerri-Anne, have a bite with me'”. Just try. She refused.

Soon after, Dom sat down at camp with Kerri-Anne and addressed her makeup privileges while trying to be respectful as Dicko suggested.

“I don’t apologize for the way I felt during the situation. I think I could have talked better.

“But the lack of team effort and support at the time was completely selfish. It felt like what are you even doing here? I don’t know why she didn’t utter any words before we started the task. I was sorry she would never try to eat the ball.’

The campmates then explained that Kerri-Ann had told them Dom couldn’t swallow, so she didn’t bother trying.

“It’s an escape,” Dom added.

‘I love her. But she had zero, zero intention to fatten up and have a crack today. I’m sorry she didn’t.’

It comes after Domenica complained that Kerri-Anne had special privileges on Tuesday’s episode of the show.

The reality star was furious about her campmate’s special privileges and how she managed to negotiate a special contract with Channel Ten before agreeing to sign on for the show.

Dom complained to the rest of the contestants in the jungle while Kerri-Anne was not present.

“Why is she okay with her getting makeup and no one else’s skincare and makeup?” she asked her fellow participants.

“I feel like there’s a power imbalance there.”
