A 13-year-old bodybuilder, who can lift 45 kg, trains at home because he is too young to go to a gym.
Eric English, originally from Fredericton, Canada, but since relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona, has a large social media following, a stream of sponsorship deals and his own website where gym-goers can view his successful fitness plan.
He’s making waves on social media with his ‘Hulk’-esque physique and has amassed over 500,000 followers on Instagram through his impressive fitness videos in which he shows off his toned physique.
After getting excited about exercise after watching a push-up challenge video on YouTube, Eric has been training for over a year and a half, looking up to fitness icons Alex Eubank and David Laid.
His father, Christopher, admitted he couldn’t be prouder of what his son has achieved.

He said: ‘I am very proud of my son, Eric. He has worked consistently and pushed himself daily to achieve a very masculine look.
‘I love how his story inspires other young people to become more active and physically fit in a time when we can so easily get lost in electronic gadgets.’
The influencer cannot go to the gym due to his young age, but makes optimal use of his own equipment that he uses at home five days a week.
The adolescent can lift more than 50 kg on his upper body using his home gym.
Eric was forced to move to the US for medical reasons, leaving his older siblings in Canada.
The changing circumstances motivated Eric to stay as active as possible.
Speaking about the muscle mass he has been able to gain so far, Eric said: ‘I am very confident in my physique because I am very lean for my age.
‘People usually get impressed when I take off my shirt because shirts and hoodies hide my lean muscles.

‘People are impressed by how slim and muscular I am for my age, that has made me popular.
‘Currently I train five days a week at home with my own equipment or outside my house for cardio as I don’t have access to the gym at the moment.
“The best response is the fans who send me their progress and thank me for inspiring them.
‘But the craziest reaction I got from a fan was a French guy who came and insulted me and said: ‘You stole my girlfriend’ because his girlfriend had broken up with me because she fell in love with me!
“It seems like social media is quick to exaggerate everything in the minds of fans, especially younger fans.”
