A 50-year-old woman who has “tried everything” at the Trader Joe’s beauty supply store has revealed her top three favorite picks — and they all cost less than $5.
The recommendations were shared by content creator Melissa in a recently surfaced article TikTok cliporiginally posted in September.
Melissa, also known as @mtagbeauty online, often uses her social media platforms to create beauty, makeup and skincare content aimed at an adult audience.
“I think I’ve tried everything in Trader Joe’s beauty, but here are my top three,” she began in the clip.

“It’s an exfoliating cream, I leave it in the shower,” Melissa explained, squeezing some of it into her palms to show viewers.
“It has such a nice grain and it’s thick, so you can really apply this and really exfoliate your skin,” she enthused.
“Afterwards your skin feels so smooth and polished. I love this stuff.”
Next on her favorites list were the brand’s Citrus and Cucumber face and body wipes.
They cost just $3.99 for a pack of 64, and Melissa promised they smelled “so good.”
“You wipe them off, and sometimes I just put them on in the afternoon or during the day when I just need to freshen up a little bit, and they smell wonderful,” the content creator shared.
“It’s such a refreshing scent that lasts even longer than you think,” she continued. “And they’re very reasonably priced. There are 64 in there and they cost $3.99.”
Next on her list of favorite Trader Joe’s products were the Citrus and Cucumber Face and Body Wipes, which cost $3.99 for a 64-pack.
Last but not least, Melissa told viewers that she was a big fan of the Trader Joe’s Vitamin E Oil Blend, which retails for just $3.99.
“This vitamin E oil blend is so good at moisturizing, so I put this on my body,” she said.
According to Melissa, it is also a favorite product of the whole family.
“My daughter uses it for her eczema and it’s amazing,” Melissa revealed.
She also recommended using the oil along with a gua sha facial tool or facial roller.
In total, purchasing all three of her recommended items will cost you just under $13.
And in the comments section of Melissa’s video, viewers also shared their own Trader Joe’s beauty favorites.
‘I tried the lavender body scrub and love it! My skin feels so soft after I use it and rinse it off,” one person wrote.

The brand’s Brazil nut body butter, available only during the summer season, took the top spot as the best bath, body and home product of the year.
