An osteopath has shared a simple exercise he says relieves shoulder pain and stiffness.
Brandon Talbot is a doctor who specializes in bone and muscle tissue and is known online for his quick and easy tricks to help combat aches and pains.
He demonstrated the simple technique which he said lengthens the soft tissue around the shoulder.
To perform the shoulder stretch, Brendon sat down and placed his elbow bent on a table with his forearm raised, making sure to keep the elbow on the table.
With his other hand he grabbed his elbow, pulled it towards his chest and leaned his body in the opposite direction.

To stretch the shoulder, Brendon sat at a table, grabbed his elbow with his other hand, pulled it toward his chest and leaned his body in the opposite direction.
Brendon said the movement should stretch the muscle on the outside of the shoulder.
‘Don’t try this if you have underlying shoulder problems. If this causes pain or discomfort, stop immediately and consult your doctor,” he warned.
Many of Brendon’s 1.9 million followers were grateful for the game-changing advice, with one woman saying: ‘Nice! One move, one crack’.
‘I literally do those stretching exercises at work. I didn’t know it was useful. It just feels good when my shoulder is tight,” replied another.
“I’m trying this right now,” one viewer commented, while another exclaimed, “OOH I NEED THIS TODAY!!”
