Idris Elba looked good at the premiere of his new Netflix movie on Wednesday after revealing that he would be open to joining the Black Panther franchise.
The 50-year-old English actor hit the red carpet at the New York City premiere of Luther: The Fallen Sun wearing a striking pistachio green blazer teamed with striking red pants.
She completed her look with elegant green patent leather loafers to complete the colorful look.
Idris was accompanied by his wife Sabrina, 34, who looked stunning in a bright yellow one-shoulder gown.
The Luther star opened up about joining the Black Panther franchise in a video posted Wednesday by E! News.

Idris said he recently watched a making of Wakanda Forever and found it “unbelievable.”
I’m a big fan of Ryan. I’m a huge fan of everyone in that movie,” said Idris, referring to the Black Panther franchise, Ryan Coogler, 36, who directed and co-wrote Black Panther and its sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
‘Ryan is a big draw. If I ever had a chance to join that franchise, absolutely,” Idris said.
The Wire star was reunited at the Luther premiere with his co-star Andy Serkis, 58, who plays serial killer David Robey in the upcoming film.
Idris can get feedback on being a part of the Black Panther franchise from Andy, who played Ulysses Klaue in the 2018 film starring the late Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.
Andy at the premiere was also joined by his wife Lorraine Ashbourne, 62.
Idris returns to the character of DCI John Luther in the highly anticipated action film adapted from the hit BBC series.
Luther: The Fallen Sun also stars Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo and will premiere Friday on Netflix.
The fifth and final series of Luther aired for four consecutive nights in 2019 on BBC One and the detective was sent to prison in the series finale.
