Identity of Sydney Thomas’ SEC admirer is revealed after college football coach slid into ring girl’s DMs

College football fanatic ring girl Sydney Thomas has reportedly been exposed after a screenshot of an Instagram post went viral.

Thomas shot into the spotlight last November after stealing the show during Jake Paul’s Netflix showdown victory over Mike Tyson.

Amid her sudden fame, the University of Alabama student was inundated with direct messages from admirers.

And during a recent appearance on the ‘Like A Farmer Podcast’, the 21-year-old revealed that she had even received attention from an SEC football coach who slid into her DMs.

While Thomas chose to keep the coach’s identity a mystery, internet sleuths quickly began investigating and narrowing down the options.

But their hunt may already be over as it appears her friend has let the cat out of the bag, with Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin reportedly to blame.

Maddy Muir, a friend of Thomas, shared a photo of a phone screen to her Snapchat, which showed a DM from Kiffin’s account that read “RTR,” which stands for “Roll Tide Roll” — Alabama’s fight song.

While it has not been confirmed that the message was sent to Thomas’ account, the ring girl had previously said that the mystery coach sent her a simple message in support of Alabama.

“It was from another coach on the SEC football team and they just texted me, ‘Roll Tide,’” Thomas had said during her podcast appearance.

“I’m not going to say which coach it was, but they’re an Alabama fan – at least now,” she added.

Muir, also a student at Alabama, appears to be a good friend of Thomas and posts photos with the blonde beauty and their friends on her own Instagram profile.

Kiffin is currently the head coach at Ole Miss, where he has a 44-18 record since taking over in 2020.

He was previously married and has three children, but has been divorced since 2016. In 2024, he revealed that he had been sober for three and a half years.

Kiffin previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Crimson Tide from 2014 to 2016, when he was hired as head coach at Florida Atlantic.
