The family of the man charged with the murder of four University of Idaho students urges the public to assume he is innocent.

A statement released by the family of Bryan Kohberger addresses the charges, shares his condolences with the families of the victims, and calls on people to refrain from judgment during this time while supporting him.

Kohberger, who has been called the “black sheep” by his peers, was arrested Friday in his home state of Pennsylvania.

“We will continue to allow the legal process to unfold and as a family we will love and support our son and brother,” the family said.

According to a source, Bryan Kohlberger, 28, the suspect in the University of Idaho murders, harassed his victims for weeks and wore gloves after the murders.

Victims Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Maddie Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, were murdered on November 13.

‘Firstly, we deeply care for the four families who have lost their precious children. There are no words that can adequately express the sadness we feel, and we pray for them every day’, the statement, obtained by TMZread in part.
