An amber alert was issued for a 10-month-old baby in Idaho who was reportedly abducted by a murder suspect – who is also his father.

Zeke Gregory Best is said to have been kidnapped by his father Jeremy Albert Best, 48, after he was last seen on Thursday evening around 11.40pm.

The baby's father is said to be “heavily armed and dangerous.”

The amber alert was issued at 4:30 this morning for the kidnapping that occurred in Victor, Idaho.

The best is the suspect in the death of Kali Jean Randell, 38, who was found unconscious in her home in the Idaho city.

Officers made the call about Randell's condition around 11:39 p.m. Thursday, just before Best was last seen, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Best was last seen driving a 1995 Chevy Tahoe in black with an Idaho license plate 1T39349.

The police warned not to approach the 'heavily armed' suspect.
