She said the mirror: ‘It has made life a lot easier. I know I wasn’t the only one gaining weight during the pandemic. I think many of us were comfort food.
‘At least I have my joy of life back. It has greatly improved my confidence. I feel like I can handle anything now.’

Lorraine said she enjoyed the opportunity to wear a smaller dress for the Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards 2022 last month, and felt much more confident in presenting an award because she wasn’t as concerned about how she looked or felt.
And she said her weight loss has rekindled her relationship with husband Steve.
She explained, “Steve says, ‘I’ve got you back,’ because my energy level has improved. I feel like doing things now, whereas I used to do some housework on weekends and then collapse in front of the television.”
Lorraine added that Steve enjoys being a part of healthier cooking and adding recipes to his menu while he’s at it.
And while she admits the couple might be having a party but has no intention of renewing their wedding vows for their 30th anniversary in September, she’s said to fit her wedding dress again.
