Iconic nineties pop band is set to REUNITE for a new TV documentary – and will expose a shocking history of death threats and fan attacks
One of the most iconic pop bands of the 1990s has reunited for a TV documentary that exposes their shocking history.
Ace Of Base produced three hit singles after first forming in 1987, including their biggest hits All That She Wants, The Sign and Don’t Turn Around.
Now the group – made up of siblings Jonas, Linn and Jenny Berggren, with Ulf Ekberg – will appear in the documentary All That She Wants: The Unbelievable Story of Ace of Base, set to air in 2024.
In the program, Ace Of Base recalls how Ulf Ekberg faced death threats from right-wing extremists.
Ulf was even forced to perform with a bulletproof vest and employed bodyguards during the band’s worldwide tours.

Jenny Berggren will also reveal she was attacked in her home by a German fan.
In 2015, Ace Of Base experienced a mini-revival, when the band released a compilation album of their greatest hits between 1991 and 2005.
Between 1992 and 2002 they released four albums that sold more than 30 million copies worldwide, making them the third most successful Swedish band ever after ABBA and Roxette.
They performed at the World Music Awards and a concert celebrating the twentieth birthday of Princess Victoria of Sweden in 1997.
After Berggren and her sister Malin left the band in 2009, their brother Jonas and bandmate Ulf Ekberg recruited two new singers.
Following her departure from the band in 2009, Jenny was forced to cancel a 1,200-seat charity performance in her native Sweden after selling just 12 tickets.
Organizers Bellwether Productions said they needed to sell at least 450 tickets to break even.

Spokesman George Jonasson said: ‘Despite enormous interest, awareness and engagement across social, national and local media, we have been forced to cancel.’
‘The reason for this is that we have not been able to sell enough tickets. Anyone who has already paid will receive a full refund.’
In 2015, Ulf told ABC News that he did not think a reunion was “impossible,” but only with “the right elements in the coming years.”
But in 2016, Jenny wasn’t so sure:
However, Jenny didn’t seem so sure, telling News.com.au: ‘We will not reform. […] We’re done working together, but we’re not done being family together. We have a lot of fun plans in the future, but no musical plans.’
In 2018, Jones hinted that a reunion had been discussed, but Linn would never return.
