Sources have now confirmed the news TMZadding that the 93-year-old King had recently been hospitalized for more than a week. Details about King’s current condition remain unclear. DailyMail.com’s emails to King’s spokespeople and website were not immediately returned.

Despite his advancing years, the controversial King still promotes fighters, including troubled former champion Adrien Broner, and remains an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. King settled a legal dispute with heavyweight Daniel Dubois in 2022 after he allegedly failed to pay the Englishman for his win over Trevor Bryan months earlier. Dubois is now set to fight former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in front of a record crowd at Wembley on Saturday night.
