Iconic 1970s TV star is agelessly beautiful at 79… can you guess who she is?

A bombshell from an iconic 1970s series is still timelessly beautiful in a new photo she posted on social media this week, at the age of 79.

She appeared with two other women in a major hit series that turned all three of them into international sex symbols.

The property eventually became a huge franchise, with a series of films and even a short-lived reboot series in 2011.

In the decades since the original series ended, one of the three starlets has played Jackie Kennedy in a TV movie and appeared on CSI.

Now she’s posted a new Instagram video of her sparkling Christmas sweater, but it was her own glowing complexion that grabbed the most attention.

Can you guess who the screen siren is?

The actress in question is Jaclyn Smith, who was one of the three stars of the original Charlie’s Angels series from 1976 to 1981.

In her new video, she stood by the window, allowing sunlight to shine on her sequined Christmas sweater.

‘When the light hits your holiday sweater just right!’ she wrote about the video, in which she smiled enigmatically.

She became a sensation on Charlie’s Angels alongside Kate Jackson and the late Farrah Fawcett, all employees of a private detective agency.

Of the three main actresses from the first season, Jaclyn was the only one who remained on the program for the entire five-season run.

Farrah left after one season and was replaced by Cheryl Ladd, while Kate spent three seasons on the show before Shelley Hack stepped into her slot.

In the intervening decades, Jaclyn has continued to work in television, including a Golden Globe-nominated role as Jacqueline Kennedy in a 1981 TV movie.

She starred in a miniseries of Robert Ludlum’s novel The Bourne Identity in 1988, more than a decade before the book was made into a film starring Matt Damon.

Jaclyn was a fixture on the small screen in the 1980s, from TV movies like Rage Of Angels and Florence Nightingale to miniseries like George Washington.

In 1989, 13 years after she first became a celebrity on Charlie’s Angels, Jaclyn received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

As the decades passed, she continued to lend her talents to the Charlie’s Angels universe once the franchise expanded into films.

She landed a cameo in the 2003 release of Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, the second film to star Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz.

She then starred in the 2019 flop Charlie’s Angels film, directed by Elizabeth Banks, with Twilight star Kristin Stewart in one of the leading roles.

On a personal level, she has been divorced three times: from Dark Shadows actor Roger Davis, The Young And The Restless alumnus Dennis Cole and acclaimed English cinematographer Tony Richmond.

Jaclyn was married to Tony from 1981 to 1989, during which time they welcomed her two children: son Gaston, 42, and daughter Spencer Margaret, 38.

Since 1997, she has been happily married to her current husband Brad Allen, a heart surgeon whom he met when he operated on her father.

Brad and Jaclyn have collaborated on a skin care line, and she has also dabbled in clothing, perfume, bedding and furniture.

She now lives in her hometown of Houston, Texas, in a sprawling Georgian mansion that she bought in 1991 and is now worth an estimated $20 million.

In recent years she has appeared on hit shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Law And Order: Special Victims Unit.

A few years ago, Jaclyn gave some insights into how she has maintained her youthful looks despite being in her late 70s.

She advised people who use hair dye, as she does, to “deeply condition it every four to six weeks,” she said. First for women.

As for her diet, she explained, “I grew up on a farm eating fresh food without hormones or preservatives, and I still try to eat that way.”

Jaclyn says: ‘I enjoy a lot of raw vegetables, organic meat, all types of lettuce. I love okra, whether it’s fried, steamed or pickled.”

She added: “But I also believe in everything in moderation – you can’t be too disciplined. Being too disciplined sometimes robs the joy.”

Jaclyn spilled, “Once a week I enjoy a little fried Southern food, a Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, or a nice lean hamburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a little mayonnaise and mustard — because that’s how we they like it in Texas.’

She emphasized the importance of finding a “moisturizer that won’t separate the makeup,” noting, “That way you can take a sponge and dab a little moisturizer over your makeup so that this one is being refreshed.’

Jaclyn added: ‘It penetrates the lines and brings more color and vibrancy to your skin so it doesn’t look dry. I often register again around noon if I have to go somewhere.’

As for exercise, she relies on “circuit training,” which combines “weights, stretches, and core work — lots of planks!” They keep my core and lower back strong. Maybe I’ll add an arm or leg lift to the plank so it’s not just standing still.’
