Ice-T revealed that his seven-year-old daughter Chanel still sleeps in the same bed as he and wife Coco Austin.
Coco and Ice-T tied the knot in 2002 and then welcomed little Chanel into the world in 2015 – when the rap star was 57 years old.
The rap star, whose first name is Tracy Morrow, also has a daughter named Latesha, 47, and a son named Tracy Jr., 31, from previous relationships.
During a new interview on That moment with Daymond JohnIce-T confessed that he felt “so much more connected” to Chanel than he did to his first two children.
He attributed the difference to being “in a cruising pattern” when he had Chanel, while he was young and “distracted” when Latesha and Tracy Jr. arrived.

Chanel’s birth, he gushed, “made me want to live forever.” It made me create new goals because you have bread, you can start slowing down. But no, not that new baby, that new baby – and it’s the best present I could ever get.’
The Cop Killer lyricist candidly shared, “I think the difference with Chanel and my other kids is that I’m very aware of this baby.”
Looking back on raising his two older kids, he thought, “Like, I had my daughter when I was in high school, I ran and ran, so it was more than presence.” I wasn’t there, you know?’
He added, “My son, Ice, happened right when I became Ice-T. You know, I had never been famous before. This was something very new. So I’ve been distracted by that.’
With ‘Chanel, I’m comfortable, I’m in a cruising pattern’ on the other hand. I was there when Coco was pregnant, I was in the hospital and Chanel still sleeps in bed with us. You know, so I’m so much more connected to her than I am to my other kids.”
His comments come less than two years after Coco received a deluge of backlash online when it emerged she was still breastfeeding Chanel, who was five at the time.
Coco told Us weekly that in addition to solid food such as ‘steak and hamburgers’, her daughter ‘likes a small snack now and then’ of breast milk.
“Why would you take that from her?” the mother of a quarrel. “If she doesn’t want it, okay, then you stop. But I’m not just going to say no.’

She told the magazine that “Chanel still loves my breasts. It’s a great bonding moment for a mother and your child.’
The comments sparked a backlash that prompted Ice-T to defend his wife on Twitter by noting his own enthusiasm for her breasts.
‘Newsflash! We feed Chanel FOOD… She just likes to suck mom’s breasts now and then… Me too!!!’ he joked.
He also snapped at an online commenter, “Why the hell are you worried about MY child??? That’s the weird thing. Now go back to the basement.’
Early in the corona lockdowns, Coco posted a photo of herself tending to Chanel, who was four at the time, writing in the caption, “At a time when the world feels like it’s coming to an end.. soak up as much love as you can! ‘
She assured fans, “At this point in nursing, it’s just for comfort and believe me, the girl likes meat so it’s not like she’s not eating real food… Thanks to anyone who understands my point… i see most of you are so excited to side with me and i support you in your journey as well.. We mothers are connected.”
Coco, who has a bra size of 39DD, started her career as a glamor model with appearances ranging from Swimwear Illustrated to Playboy.
She was at a music video shoot in late 2001 when she met Ice-T, who is a whopping 21 years her senior, and they got married in January 2002 after a whirlwind romance that lasted less than two months.
