Ian Wright and Gary Lineker have taken to social media to voice their disapproval at VAR decisions in the wake of Alexis Mac Allister’s disallowed goal for Brighton against Leicester City.
The Argentine fired in an unstoppable effort from 25 yards but his goal was overturned by VAR after Enock Mwepu was adjudged to have been in an offside position in the build up.
The decision comes after two highly-contentious VAR calls on Saturday that ruled out goals for West Ham United in their game at Chelsea and Newcastle United in their clash with Crystal Palace.

At this point it’s better to scrap the entire thing if they can’t hire competent people to make the decisions.’
