Ian Wright criticized both Kalidou Koulibaly and Kepa Arrizabalaga after poor defensive performances against Fulham.
The former Arsenal striker, speaking for his Wrighty House Podcast – claimed that Koulibaly seemed ‘very nervous’ and that Kepa made ‘too many mistakes’ in goal for the Blues.

The former England striker also said the Chelsea goalkeeper “has to do better” to keep his place in the team after several uninspiring performances, calling Senegal defender Koulibaly “eager”.
‘How can someone be as fragile as (Kalidou) Koulibaly?’ Wright began. Koulibaly looks fucking nervous and very anxious. The goalkeeper (Kepa) has to stay on his line for the center or he has to go through everyone and get to the ball.
‘The way the ball came in is a good cross, it’s a tempting cross. But if the goalie is in the right position, he shouldn’t give you any trouble. You either stay on your line or you go and palm him away, he was in the air long enough.

I’m looking at Kepa and I’m sorry, but it’s not working. Man makes too many mistakes. He looks very nervous. When you look at the goals from Fulham and the one from Manchester City, I think Kepa has to do better.
We are facing a Chelsea team where, even if they are playing well, I cannot look at the goalkeeper and think that he will help them win a game. I can not see it.
