However, someone who has seen what goes on behind closed doors claims that there are many disgusting habits that customers are unaware of.
A man from Lowescroft in Norwich has worked in the hospitality industry for seven years – he recently bared it all and shared some shocking allegations about the industry's dirty secrets.
Harry Marjolein, 21, passing by @kingharry on TikTok, he captioned his warning video: “be careful next time you eat.”
The controversial clip has already been seen by more than 260,000 people in less than 24 hours. Some were shocked, but not everyone was convinced that the terrible stories were true.

He warned viewers: 'I've worked in the hospitality industry for seven years and this is what goes on behind the scenes that no one wants you to know.
“Next time I wouldn't order ice in your drink because there's an ice machine in the back that probably hasn't been cleaned in two months.”
The TikToker added, “Black mold in ice machines can even cause death.”
Moving on to his next point, Harry makes the bold claim: 'The waiter handling your food probably hasn't washed his hands for the entire shift.
“Say you're eating at 5pm, they've probably been there for about eight hours – that's gross.
'There's no question that a chip has fallen off your plate in the time it took to get from the kitchen to you and the waitress has just put it back on the plate – you're eating chips that have been on the plate. floor.
“I once saw someone sneeze while carrying four plates – he obviously couldn't cover his mouth – a waitress probably sneezed on your food.”
On hygiene, he shockingly said: 'If you see the bartender and your waitress disappearing, they're probably having a quickie in the toilets.
Harry warned: 'I wouldn't order ice in your drink next time as there's an ice machine in the back that probably hasn't been cleaned in two months'
“It's happened more times than I can count and no, they don't wash their hands or clean up when they get back – they go straight back to work.”
Harry continued: 'In the summer it gets very hot, of course, and you sweat.
'I used to work with a woman who would wipe her forehead with the same blue paper towel all day and keep it in her pocket – it's fucking disgusting.
'If you go to a restaurant and it doesn't have an open kitchen, you probably don't want to be there because the chefs are locked up and you can't see them for no reason – they're fucking awful.'
He also warns that 'the cutlery on your table may look clean', but in his experience this is probably because someone simply breathed on it and then wiped it off.
The TikToker claims, “It hasn't been washed. The table probably wasn't wiped down properly either, perhaps a damp tea towel ended up on your table that had been left in the back for three hours.
