‘I wish you were here’: Kirstie Alley’s daughter Lillie remembers her late mother on what would have been her 72nd birthday

Kirstie Alley’s daughter, Lillie Price Stevenson, paid tribute to her late mother in an Instagram post Thursday in honor of what would have been her 72nd birthday.

Lillie, 28, posted an image containing four black-and-white photos of the Cheers and Look Who’s Talking star, who died on December 5 following a battle with colon cancer.

She captioned the post: “Happy birthday mom… I wish you were here.”

The latest: Kirstie Alley’s daughter, Lillie Price Stevenson, 28, paid tribute to her late mother in an Instagram post Thursday in honor of what would have been her 72nd birthday.

In the flashback images, which appeared to be taken during the 1980s or 1990s, Alley struck a series of poses while wearing an off-the-shoulder top.

Lillie was seen looking directly into the camera with a ponytail; looking to the side of her in a couple of shots; and posing with his hand in her hair, wearing it loose.

Lillie and her brother True issued a joint statement on Instagram announcing the passing of the Emmy-winning actress.

‘To all our friends, throughout the world…’, he said. “We are saddened to inform you that our incredibly fierce and loving mother has passed away after a recently discovered battle with cancer.

“She was surrounded by her closest family and she fought very hard, leaving us with the certainty of her never-ending joie de vivre and the adventures that awaited her. As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more incredible mother and grandmother.”

They said they were “grateful to the incredible team of doctors and nurses at Moffitt Cancer Center” in Tampa, Florida “for their care” of Alley.

“The enthusiasm and passion for life of our mother, her children, grandchildren and her many animals, not to mention her undying joy of creating, was unparalleled and leaves us inspired to live life to the fullest just as she did.” they said.

The brothers thanked people for their ‘love and prayers’ and requested privacy during the difficult time.
