‘I was very surprised’: Andy Cohen says he texted Kim Zolciak amid her split from husband Kroy Biermann
Andy Cohen said he had been texting Kim Zolciak since news broke that she had filed for divorce from husband Kroy Biermann after 11 years of marriage.
Cohen, 54, said in Tuesday’s edition of Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXMthat he was “very surprised” to hear the news that the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star, 44, had filed for split from the Atlanta Falcons alum, 37.
“That wasn’t the news I ever expected,” Cohen said of the breakup. “They seemed so in love and just together.
“I mean, they were a couple who, yeah, I thought they were in it for the long haul. Very surprised.’
The parting announcement came amid reports that the couple had a tax debt of more than $1,000,000, TMZ reported, citing court documents.

The Don’t Be Tardy star said she and the former NFL player — who are the parents of Kroy Jagger, 11, Kash, 10, and twins Kane and Kaia, nine — split on April 30, TMZ reported. after reviewing court documents.
Biermann adopted Zolciak’s older children from previous relationships — Brielle, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 21 — when they were minors in the couple’s earlier years.
Cohen said of the former couple, “They have kids and that was just a couple that seemed very much in love.”

Zolciak had filed for divorce from Biermann after 11 years of marriage
Zolciak said in court documents that the marriage was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation,” the outlet reported, requesting primary physical custody and joint legal custody of the minor children.
Zolciak has asked for support from her husbands in court documents, requesting that her maiden name be restored.
The tax amount from the IRS consists of back taxes, penalties and interest for the years 2013, 2017 and 2018, the outlet reported, noting that they are also behind in their native Georgia for 2018.
