I was called a paedophile after sharing my wedding photos – but my wife is only two years younger than me

A bride has told how she was mercilessly targeted online and wrongly branded a pedophile after sharing photos from her wedding day with her much younger-looking wife.

Lauren Evens, 31, from Surrey, married Hannah Kaye at their local registry office in September.

The influencer was over the moon when she tied the knot with her wife after first meeting on Tinder and dating for two years, with Hannah popping the question in January.

Little did the couple know they would face a barrage of online abuse after sharing professional photos of the big day on social media.

In a disturbing turn of events, Lauren was falsely accused of being a pedophile by hundreds of Instagram users for ‘marrying someone so young’ – despite Hannah being 29 years old.

Lauren said, “Some people thought it was cute that my 10-year-old son walked down the aisle with me. Others thought it was disgusting that I was kissing a young boy.”

Other mean comments from the trolls include: “I thought she married a child,” “Why does he look like a 13-year-old boy?” and ‘Is he old enough to get married?’

Lauren – who made headlines in August after spending thousands of pounds on cosmetic surgery in Turkey to look younger, including £3,400 on a new smile and £2,000 on a stomach abdomino – said her wife’s youthful appearance was down to is up to ‘luck’.

She explained: ‘I have paid thousands of pounds to look younger and change my body and appearance, but my wife is just lucky in that she has incredible genes.

‘She’s two years younger – I won’t be arrested. Hannah is a harsh one, but the comments offend me and they are incredibly hurtful.

“People think they have the right to call me a predator or a pedophile and that disgusts me.”

Lauren added: ‘The amount of abuse we’ve received is just ridiculous.’

Hannah, a specialist engineer, explains that she has always looked young for her age, and despite being almost 30, is still asked to show ID in bars and supermarkets.

Hannah revealed the comments have even upset family members, who have been described as ‘very protective’ of the couple

She said: ‘The negativity exploded when we uploaded our wedding photos. But even before that, any photo of us together would trigger nasty reactions because I look younger.”

Hannah explained that she must carry identification at all times and is often asked to provide valid proof of age when purchasing lottery tickets and energy drinks.

She continues: ‘We recently went on holiday to Spain and had to show my passport and holiday booking to get an adult wristband.’

Hannah revealed the comments have even upset family members, who are described as ‘very protective’ of the couple.

She added: ‘Everyone has their opinion about my appearance, I grew up with everyone having an opinion about me and what I look like. I just don’t acknowledge any comments; I just block them out.”

Lauren believes the couple had the last laugh, as she added: ‘Strangers online can say whatever they want but we’ve never been happier’

Hannah insisted she had “heard them all before” and there was little point in dealing with the trolls because they are “close-minded.”

They recently flew to Northern Cyprus to undergo egg retrieval surgery.
