I was bullied for being ‘genuinely ugly’ as a child, but now I make £30,000 a month from my looks – it’s hard to adjust to my new appearance
A woman who felt ‘really ugly’ as a child has experienced a revival in adulthood, but admits she is struggling to ‘get used’ to her new beauty.
April Opal, 18, from Middlesbrough, has gone from being the ‘fat’ girl that ‘no one wanted’ to selling glamorous photos for a living, which can earn her up to £30,000 a month.
She explained that as a child she was “strange” and “was heavily criticized for her appearance.”
At one point, April was set to study stem cell research at Oxford or Cambridge, but that all changed when she realized her new beauty.
In conversation with Daily starthe content creator explained that she now finds it ‘strange’ that she can finance her life with her glamorous appearance.

April said: ‘I was a very strange child and as I got older it never really got better.’
‘I’ve been heavily criticized for my appearance, and I was never anyone’s first choice at school, no one really liked me.’
The young model was focused on school and was considering going to Oxford or Cambridge to study stem cell research.
But as April grew older, her appearance slowly began to change.
After learning to change her makeup and opting for a glamorous style, her appearance became more conventionally attractive.
She abandoned her plan to study at university because she realized she could make a living from her appearance.
The teen is now flaunting her beauty on social media, with men looking at her in the comments and paying money for her sexy images.
April can earn up to £30,000 a month from selling her content, and a man she had never met before asked for her hand in marriage after viewing her content.
The content creator said she was “overweight” when she was younger and that no one would ever like her

Despite the change in April’s appearance, she has admitted that being bullied as a child still affects her life.
“It’s like I’m constantly waiting for everyone else to say, ‘we’re kidding, we don’t like the way you look and actually we still think you’re so weird, that boy,'” she said.
However, she understands that this is unreasonable since it hasn’t happened yet.
April looks at the positives of her hefty earnings, which have allowed her to live a luxurious lifestyle, and earlier this year her looks allowed her to travel around Asia.
The content creator plans to travel the world to participate in ‘fun’ and ‘awesome’ activities.
Although she also plans to save some money and buy properties to rent out.

It comes after OnlyFans artist Lucy Banks, who has made more than $1 million sharing racy content online, had the last laugh with a former school bully.
The adult star announced in a recent TikTok video that she has finally gotten revenge on a “hometown girl who tried to ruin me.”
Lucy dances in front of her pool while a modern version of the ‘Chicken Dance’ plays.
In the caption of her dance video, she writes that her bully’s father “just subscribed to me.”
While many fans expressed their approval with laughing emojis and sharing the video, Lucy had a few detractors.
