“So I had two serious boyfriends when I was at the CIA,” the South Carolina woman says in one clip.

“One was actually Mexican-American,” she continues. “He went to the United States. He was a Harvard Law student.”

She described how she had to report the relationship to her higher-ups early on because he was a foreign citizen.

She had to reveal facts such as his full name, date of birth and background information, but she kept secret who her employee was.

The agency, based in Langley, Virginia, conducted a background check on him and concluded he did not pose a security risk.

“Surprisingly, it wasn’t difficult or hard to get that information,” Jennings, an attractive blonde, says at the scene.

‘People trusted me, and my main concern was ensuring transparency and safety.’

At another point, the retired detective broaches the topic of telling partners about her unconventional profession, a subject normally taboo, at least initially, she says.

But it wasn’t immediate, and the journey saw a few more coming. She recalls such adventures on TikTok, where she has nearly 100,000 followers.

I didn’t tell [my first boyfriend] that I specifically worked for the CIA – I just said I did government work.

“That’s a very normal thing to say in Washington, D.C.,” she continues. “No one is going to single you out and say, ‘So, what exactly do you do for the government?’

‘At least, not usually.

“When I met my husband when I was working at the CIA, we had an interesting story because one of his very good friends worked in the same department as me.

“He called my work number and his friend answered,” she recalls.

‘It was really funny because his friend was just using my desk during a morning meeting,

And he was like, “Wait a minute, is this such and such?”

“And he was like, ‘Yeah, her husband, that’s Matt.’ My husband, and then my boyfriend,” she says.

The mistake quickly exposed her relationship, but fortunately things quickly became serious between the two and they were married within a few years.

Before that, he even visited her at the agency’s famous headquarters in Virginia, she says, remembering that he “wanted to see where I worked.”

In an interview with Newsweekshe explained, describing how “in the early stages [of her relationships]I kept my job description generally vague, stating only that I was a government advisor.

“The details didn’t get specific until they were absolutely necessary,” she said. “I didn’t share the truth about my CIA connection until it was unavoidable.”

“Once our relationship reached a certain level of trust and commitment, my husband was the only one who received this information,” she concluded.

In addition to her prominent social media presence, Jennings has also written a book titled Syndicate Spy, which also offers an interesting insight into her time with the CIA.

It shows how the sometimes complex love lives of agents are just one interesting aspect of the life of a spy, while also revealing interesting tidbits about little-known places on the service’s base, such as the mysterious ‘vault’ where confidential information is kept.

Her husband, she says in an excerpt, was able to gain access thanks to her, but only after he provided his citizen service number.
