Mia then used her friend’s iPad to call his friend – and used the AI recording to fool the unnamed friend into thinking he was talking to Billy

“I thought about an ex who cheated on me and how this kind of technology would have saved me a lot of time.
Mia’s video was quickly flooded with comments from fans praising her for her “genius” tactics
However, the 22-year-old later revealed that the whole thing was set up with her boyfriend and his boyfriend – though she insisted the hack is still effective
“We decided to try it with his voice and we were shocked at how close the results were – and we came up with the idea for the fictional prank video together.”
Mia continued, “I think with technology and social media it’s so much easier for people to cheat because there’s so much access.
“The downside is that it’s also much easier to get caught, which is why I think there’s such a cheating epidemic.”
Mia also shared how she managed to imitate his voice so accurately that she managed to fool all of her followers.
She explained, “I used a software called ElevenLabs, it was about $4.
“The first thing I had to do was make voice recordings of the person whose voice I wanted to replicate, which I did with my friend using voice memos and voicemails.
“I then created a natural-sounding script that I wanted my friend to ask his friend on the phone — admittedly, everyone was in on it.
“All in all, the script preparation process was very short.
“Once this was done, we were able to generate the recording.
“All we had to do was simply call the friend we picked for the joke, and let the recording flow as an organic conversation while filming the video.
“I’m sure it sounded more robotic in the video, but in person it was extremely convincing, even to me, who made it.”
While viewers were duped, Mia clarified that thankfully it wasn’t true in her case.
She added: “We were surprised by the number of people who believed this was happening.
“The response to the online cheating was mostly supportive and I appreciated the love my fans gave, even if it ended up being a joke.
My boyfriend and I are still happy together!
“Since then, though, I’ve definitely had other girls reach out with similar concerns.”
