I Tried To Trim My Dog’s Fur After Our Grooming Appointment Was Canceled, But I Turned Him Into A ‘Dollar Store Baby Yoda’
A pet owner has revealed how she transformed her dog into a “dollar store baby Yoda” after defying her own attempt to trim the oversized fluffy white coat.
Madison Harmon of Knoxville, Tennessee, had to buy clippers for her pup Annabelle after her grooming appointment was canceled.
And after trying her best to style her dog’s ivory locks, it became clear that her talents might be more suited to working on the set of The Mandalorian.
The clip, which she shared on TikTok, shows Madison “taking matters into her own hands” as she swings the clippers and then waves at a pile of discarded dog fur on the floor.
It then flashes to her less than impressed dog, as the caption above reads, “I’m so sorry Annabelle.”

The TikToker captured the hilarious results of her DIY puppy salon endeavors — which ended up with her dog closely resembling fan favorite “Baby Yoda” Grogu from the Star Wars universe — during the pandemic in a clip on social media.
It has been viewed more than 46,600 times since it was shared in 2020.
She posted the footage to the app’s viral “I did a bad thing” audio.
“This is not my calling,” Madison later noted in the comments.
However, some social media users were more fans of Annabelle’s new intergalactic look.
“Aww, she doesn’t look bad,” one of them assured.
And it seems Madison hasn’t learned from her mistakes — four months later, she posted another TikTok where she trimmed Annabelle’s fur — with equally disappointing results.
Madison’s clip has quickly garnered some 5,153 likes.

In 2020, when many countries went into lockdown for the first time, reports showed people were ‘frantically buying pets for companionship’ – as thousands of Britons did, a leading animal welfare organization had warned at the time.
Research from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home found that nearly a third of new pet owners bought an animal ‘on a whim’ in or around lockdown.
Chief executive Claire Horton said: ‘The implications for animal welfare from this year of extreme challenges could be profound.’
The organisation, which shelters animals in the UK, surveyed 2,000 dog and cat owners who bought a new pet during the national lockdown in 2020.
It turned out that 31 percent had done so, despite not having considered getting a dog or cat before.
