This is the hilarious moment a woman was left in tears after trying the ‘world’s sourest candy’ on camera.
Influencer @underratedhijabi, who recently celebrated 1 million subscribers on YouTube UK, is known for her daring candy stunts, but even she was shocked by the sweet’s razor-sharp taste.
She accepted Instagram to share one of her bravest experiments yet: tasting Mr Simm’s hard-boiled Mega Sours, which are said to be so sour they’re called ‘Black Death’.
She started with a disclaimer, warning that the ‘scary’ sweets should not be tasted by anyone ‘under eight years of age’, before carefully popping one into her mouth.
Within seconds, she erupted into a series of convulsions that people thought were so hilarious they labeled the influencer “possessed.”

Black Death Mega Sours cost £3.60 for a 200g bag and have a lemon flavour, a sour layer and an ‘extremely sour’ centre.
From the front seat of her car, she explained, “This is called Black Death. It is the sourest candy in the world.
‘Warning! Not suitable for anyone under eight years of age. Let’s try them’.
The content creator then launched a brand new pack of Mr Simms Megasours – her eyes beaming with excitement as she ripped the bag open.
She held the contents of the bag up towards the camera, giving viewers a closer look at the sweets.
A look of fear appeared as she said, “That looks so scary!”
She continued, “Why does it look like it’s made of glass and concrete?
‘Let’s try it Bismillah (meaning in the name of God or Allah)’.
The daring content creator grabbed the Brussels sprout-sized candies and popped one into her mouth, apparently signaling the point of no return.

For a moment she stood poker-faced, staring intently into the camera without giving a hint as to what she was thinking or feeling.
But then in an instant her body started shaking, at one point forcing her to hold the steering wheel to calm herself down.
It seemed that there was no way out as she continued to jerk in an extreme manner and grab her head and clothes.
A few seconds later she paused for a moment, followed by a flood of tears and a loud scream. She was so stressed that saliva started dripping from her mouth.
Trying to describe the chilling moment, she explained: “It feels like there’s a metal road going down the back of my throat.”
Clearly unperturbed by the recent event, she bravely tried the candy again before grabbing it and immediately spitting it out.

Meanwhile, someone else said: ‘That scared the hell out of me.’
The content creator is best known for her crazy food stunts and trying strange concoctions – all behind her wheel.
She said the idea came to her during the COVID-19 pandemic, adding that she started TikTok before later starting her own YouTube page.
She said YouTube UK about “falling in love” on the platform shortly after people showed interest in her videos — but she had a few choice words for the haters: “Maybe people who comment rude and negative things can learn something.
‘I’ve always been told that if there’s nothing nice to say, keep quiet. Leaving negative comments can have an effect, so be careful what you type.”
