While you naturally want to look suitably glamorous for the occasion, there’s also the risk of looking much dressier than your colleagues.

So when Katie Oldham, from Brighton, found a silver sequin two-piece ahead of her company celebrations, she walked in feeling confident and stylish.

That is, until he caught a glimpse of what it looked like from behind in the background of a colleague’s photo.

Katie Oldham, from Brighton, wore this shiny silver ensemble to her office Christmas party.

Earlier this month, the fashionista uploaded a TikTok featuring three photos she had taken the night of the party that racked up more than five million views.

With her hair styled in ’70s-inspired curls, Katie paired her striking ensemble with a brown faux fur jacket and happily posed for photos with a drink in hand.

She captioned the images: “How I thought I looked at the office Christmas party…”

The clip then jumps to another photo where Katie’s back is seen in the background.

The TikToker said that the view of her outfit from behind “humiliated her very quickly.”

Using a skull emoji, he captioned the photo: “What everyone else saw.”

Zooming in on herself in the photo, Katie jokingly said she didn’t know her butt looked like a ‘frog butt’ in the shiny pants.

“How to be humble real quick,” Katie hilariously captioned the video.

Since sharing the TikTok earlier this month, Katie’s video has amassed more than 486,000 likes, with viewers reassuring her that she looked “gorgeous” in her outfit.

One replied: ‘Baby, rear view is none of your business, out of sight out of mind! You look beautiful.’

“The most relatable thing I’ve ever seen,” added another.

“Girl, you made me laugh,” said a third. ‘Thank you, we’ve all been here!’

“You’re beautiful,” said a fourth. ‘This is totally normal, that’s why social media is so harmful!’
