Payal told Insider that she wanted to break the “generational cycles” of toxic masculinity when she first launched her video series.

In her most popular clip, which has been viewed more than 6.9 million times to date, the mother-son duo sit outside their house with pen and paper.

Overhead text reads, “Teaching my son to write down his feelings when he’s upset so your daughter doesn’t have to deal with his impulsive outbursts.”

Other popular clips, which range from the light-hearted to the emotional, include lessons on “the importance of quality skin care,” “how to clean up after himself,” and “mindfulness.”

But she is not afraid to avoid other, more sensitive topics as well.

In another of her videos – more than 2.9 million views – Payal is in bed while her son brings her a treat.

Then she says, “Teaching my son that women feel ‘sick’ a few days a month so that your daughter never has to ‘go through.'”

The response to Payal’s videos has been overwhelming with other moms showering her content with praise.

Someone wrote, “You are doing the work of the Lord. We girl mothers, thank you for your service.’

Another added, “Someone give this mama an award.”

And a third said, ‘I hope you get the best daughter-in-law. You deserve it.’

After the widespread interest in her videos, Payal told the publication that she wanted her two sons to know “the power and privilege that they will have as men in our world.”

Payal said, “I want them to be aware of this, to always be an ally, to understand the responsibility that comes with their role in life.”

The mother argued that parents can help break down society’s “patriarchal foundation” if they teach their sons to be “equal, kind, empathetic partners who hold themselves accountable.”
