A mother of two has taken the internet by storm after teaching her seven-year-old son life lessons on how to be a good husband.
Payal Desai, from Texas, has gained more than 185,000 followers on TikTok with her “no dusty sons” video series.
The clips currently feature eldest son Carter with her youngest, three-year-old Dev, likely to appear in the next few years.
The content creator, who also works as a style blogger, has been widely praised by other social media users who have thanked her for “doing the Lord’s work.”

Payal told Insider that she wanted to break the “generational cycles” of toxic masculinity when she first launched her video series.
In her most popular clip, which has been viewed more than 6.9 million times to date, the mother-son duo sit outside their house with pen and paper.

In another of her videos – more than 2.9 million views – Payal is in bed while her son brings her a treat.

After the widespread interest in her videos, Payal told the publication that she wanted her two sons to know “the power and privilege that they will have as men in our world.”
Payal said, “I want them to be aware of this, to always be an ally, to understand the responsibility that comes with their role in life.”
The mother argued that parents can help break down society’s “patriarchal foundation” if they teach their sons to be “equal, kind, empathetic partners who hold themselves accountable.”
