When it comes to a train journey you will never forget, this is undoubtedly the best option.
YouTube creator and entrepreneur Ryan Trahan, a native of Texas, traveled on the Venice Simplon Orient Express during his time in Europe and on one of the journeys he upgraded to the train’s most luxurious cabin.
The Grand Suite on the historic train from Paris to Venice (the route Ryan took) costs over $32,000 a night for a single room.
And in a video documenting his royal train journey, Ryan reveals some of the perks of ‘the world’s most expensive train seat’.
Upon entering the wood-paneled private room, the 24-year-old designer reveals a spacious living room complete with a sofa and dining table.

The sleeping area has a double bed, which can be conveniently folded up to create storage space for luggage.
To top it all off, there’s a marble-clad bathroom with a shower, frosted glass window for privacy, glass sink and old-fashioned toilet.
Ryan also seems impressed with the “grand” carvings adorning the headboard of the bed.
During his train journey, Ryan leaves his Grand Suite to dine in the dining car.
He captures a number of ‘fancy’ dishes, including an artfully presented plate of smoked salmon, and notes that they all ‘taste delicious’.
As part of the personal service, when he returns in the evening, he finds a chocolate dessert with a message sprayed on it in his cabin.
However, he accidentally drops the sweet treat and then goes to the bar for a nightcap.
He says that “everyone is dressed super fancy” as he places an order for a Shirley Temple and compliments the pianist.
