A woman who has chosen to sleep in a hammock has revealed the pros and cons of the hanging bed, adding that she gets much better rest and reduces costs.

Most recently, the Colorado-based content creator gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at her bedtime routine, which involves resting in a hammock.
In a viral video, which has been viewed more than 1.6 million times to date, she claimed her hammock helped recreate the feeling of being ‘cradled like a baby’ so it is more comfortable.

She captioned the clip: “Let me know if you have any questions about hammock life.”
‘I sleep in a hammock full time. I don’t have a bed and that’s how it is,” she said at the beginning of the clip.
Stephanie continued, “First the cons, because for me there’s only one.”
“Obviously no one can stay over,” she said as she showed viewers the beige hammock.
However, Stephanie noted that it wasn’t a big problem for her that no one came over because she preferred to sleep alone.
“I’m single and I don’t really like sleeping with people anyway so I guess it’s not a scam for me, but if you like sleeping with people it might be a scam for you.” , she added.
Then Stephanie said she chose to throw away her mattress because her room was only “10 x 10” so she “didn’t have room for a bed.”

She noted that she also had a naturally arched back, so sleeping in a hammock made her back pain disappear
She added, “Have you seen how expensive mattresses and bed frames are?”
Stephanie said the hammock and stand only cost her $100.
The 28-year-old also revealed that she was getting a lot more rest.
“Hammocks mimic the way you were rocked as a baby and I personally sleep much better because of it,” she said.
‘When I was sleeping in bed I would wake up three or four times a night and now I don’t actually wake up at all.’
The content creator added that she also had a naturally curved back, so sleeping in a hammock made her back pain disappear.
