I sell my sexy pictures on OnlyFans because no one will hire me for a 9-5 job: I once commanded 25k for a shoot but I squandered my fortune, reveals Lauren Goodger

Lauren Goodger has revealed she is selling her lingerie-clad photos on racy subscription sites OnlyFans and RevealMe to protect her family’s future after squandering her fortune.

The TOWIE star, 38, said she is happily living a ‘basic’ life in a regular semi-detached house with her daughter Larose, three, who she shares with her ex Charles Drury, but she wants to earn as much as she can for Larose’s life. future.

The brunette beauty previously revealed she charged £25,000 for a magazine shoot in her TOWIE heyday, but is now lucky enough to take home £2,000 now because the industry has changed so much.

Now the reality star has turned to OnlyFans, selling photos of herself in lingerie for a $50 (£38) monthly membership to the adult photo-sharing site.

However, Lauren admitted last month that she would prefer not to use the X-rated website, where she posts lingerie-clad photos to make money.

She told MailOnline a series of bad financial decisions when she was younger and her work drying up meant she had to think again.

After mismanaged finances, the reality star has turned to OnlyFans, where she sells photos of herself in lingerie for a monthly membership of $50 (£38).

Lauren revealed that after finding fame on TOWIE (pictured with Billie Faiers, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Jessica Wright, Lydia Bright and Sam Faiers), she has lost her fortune

She said: ‘When I first started I could get on average around £25,000 for a magazine shoot, but now it’s all online and I get a lot less, maybe £2,000.

“Before, I would do a shoot or a gig or something almost every day so I could make a lot of money, but I noticed that work started to dry up, especially after Covid and my pregnancy and my loss and all that.”

Lauren’s daughter, Lorena, died in July 2022 when she was two days old, despite being born “without any pregnancy or delivery complications.”

She added: ‘And when I was younger I couldn’t manage my money and I didn’t have the right support around me.’

Lauren further confirmed that she doesn’t plan on posing on OnlyFans forever, but wants to make sure she’s financially stable before closing her account.

To ensure she can make as much money as possible, the TOWIE star has launched a profile on a new site, RevealMe, which she explained was set up by her friend as a ‘UK version of OnlyFans’.

The star hopes to post photos and interact with fans regularly.

“My plan with Reveal Me and OnlyFans is that I just want to make as much money as possible, close it down and invest the money in real estate for my daughter, pay off my debts and maybe start a business again.” she said.

“I don’t want to do it forever, I can’t do it forever.”

Although Lauren doesn’t want to sell sexy photos forever, she revealed that it wouldn’t work if she wanted to have a 9-to-5 job.

She said: ‘I couldn’t do regular work, I used to be able to do that. I used to work in the city and I have friends who do, but I don’t think anyone would hire me anymore because of who I am.”

Lauren also discussed her approach to money after finding fame on TOWIE, revealing she thought the money would last forever but is now ‘taking back control’.

“You think it’s going to last forever, but money comes and goes,” she said.

‘I feel like I’m getting the old Lauren back and that I’m doing more myself and not through an agency.’

‘If I did shoots I would lose about 20 percent through an agency, but now I do it myself and I think it’s better.’

She added that she is ‘grateful for the work’ but is now more pragmatic with her finances and revealed the advice she would give to her daughter Larose, three.

The reality star, who is currently filming the TOWIE Christmas special, said: ‘I’m very grateful for the work and I can fill my cupboards every week, but I’m being more sensible with my money.

‘When I was younger, I wasn’t good at managing my money and didn’t have the right support around me’

‘I would tell Larose to invest and save. It’s nice to have designer clothes and bags, but I’d rather have the money.

“Where I grew up, you went to school in Gucci shoes and I don’t want her to miss out, but I want her to appreciate money because it comes and goes and it’s hard and it’s stressful.”

And although the star has returned to the hit reality show after more than six years away, she confessed she’s not sure she would want her daughter to follow in her footsteps.

Although Lauren doesn’t want to sell sexy photos forever, it wouldn’t work if she wanted to have a 9-to-5 job, she said: ‘I don’t think anyone would hire me anymore because of who I am’

She said, ‘I don’t want her to do it. I learned a lot the hard way, but I don’t want her to do something like that.

‘I’m not sure if Larose is going to TOWIE, maybe he will.

‘With Love Island I wouldn’t really want her to do it, but I would support her and maybe become her manager because I want to protect her.’

While discussing her future plans, Lauren said she would like to start a new business and bring back her fake tan brand and work on her beauty business Lauren’s Way.
