A woman has been branded ‘mean’ for turning up at her twin sister’s wedding in her own wedding dress.
In 2022, Anastasia Domanico from Pennsylvania wore the dress for her wedding, and when her twin brother’s wedding arrived, she decided to make it another outing.
In a TikTok video that now has more than 3.8 million views, the content creator showed off the white dress, which she updated with the addition of a black bow.
But viewers were less than happy to see her in the white dress on her twin brother’s wedding day, with some suggesting they stain the white clothes with ‘red wine’.

In the clamp captioned: “A dress so beautiful I wore it twice,” Anastasia revealed the floor-length wedding gown to viewers.
She smiled at the camera and said, “This is my outfit from the night at my sister’s wedding.”
Anastasia explained that she took some time to film the clip while the bride, Francesca Braun, was enjoying cocktail hour.
“So I’m actually wearing my wedding dress, you guys can kind of see the bottom,” she said, showing off the black bow around her waist,” she said.
But onlookers weren’t too happy to see the twins wearing the dress on her sister’s special day, with some calling her ‘mean’ and ‘disrespectful’.
One person said Anastasia “screamed: pick me girl,” while another wondered: “Can we normalize not wearing wedding dresses to a wedding?”
Others hinted that there were stains on the beautiful dress, saying: “That’s a red wine dress.”
Another person interjected, “You can’t even let her have her day? So mean.’

One user added her two cents, noting, “People would do anything for attention,” while another joked, “I didn’t get the memo that I wouldn’t wear white to a wedding.”
Certain people were furious with Anastasia and accused her of trying to steal the bride’s attention.
Another furious onlooker added: ‘I’m usually chill about what my friends wear but no one will wear white on my special day. I can not do it.’
However, after being branded ‘disrespectful’, the content creator revealed that her twin brother actually asked her to wear the wedding dress to her wedding.
She explained: ‘This was at the bride’s request!!! She’s my twin brother.’
In a slideshow posted from the big day, both Anastasia and Francesca can be seen holding hands and wearing black sunglasses, paired with big grins.
Francesca’s dress was an off-the-shoulder floor-length lace dress paired with a veil.
Many users were shocked by comments that the twins would don the dress on her sister’s big day, but some defended her, calling the outfit choice “cute.”
But not everyone in the comments section was against Anastasia for what would typically be considered a wedding faux pas.
One person commented: ‘I was like, wait, but then I started poking around and it’s actually a really cute and special thing to do with twins.’
Another called the internet ‘toxic’, adding: ‘Why would people assume you would wear white to your SISTER’s wedding behind her back?’
Others wanted to see Francesca in her wedding dress and asked if they could see the bride’s dress: ‘I love that you can wear it again!!! you look perfect. SHOW THE BRIDE!!!’
