A Kmart shopper was stunned by a “cheeky” comment another woman made about her body while shopping for a popular dress.
New South Wales’ Tahrnia Peach was looking for the sold-out $25 Luxe Maxi Dress, which is said to be an affordable “dupe” of styles sold by Glassons and Skims.
The young customer managed to get her hands on a size eight, but claims a passerby looking for the same outfit said she “might fit a size ten better.”
Tahrnia shared the details in a TikTok video and left hundreds baffled, but admitted that the other woman probably “just wanted the last size eight” for herself.
Tahrnia Peach (pictured) was looking for Kmart’s popular Luxe Maxi dress and managed to get her hands on a size eight gray. However, while in the store, she claims another woman told her she “might fit size ten better.” The comment left her speechless
She says, “Oh, is that a size 8?” And I said “Yes”. And she says, “Maybe size 10 fits better”. hat the f***?! Buy your own dress, little rat,’ she said. When she got home, Tahrnia tried on the gray dress, which perfectly matched her physique
“I’ve seen this Kookai, SKIMS dupe dress from Kmart all over my For You page, so I’m going to look,” Tahrnia began.
She filmed her buying the dress and then returned to the car in bewilderment.
“So that was kind of a bloodbath. There was one size 8 left and this girl saw me grab it,” she said.
And she’s like, “Oh, is that a size 8?” And I said “Yes”. And she says, “Maybe size 10 fits better.”
With a shocked look on her face, she paused and then said, ‘Firstly, I don’t have a problem with a size 10 or anything, there’s nothing wrong with that – I can fit a size 10.’
“But like, what the hell?! Buy your own dress, little rat.’
When she got home, Tahrnia tried on the gray dress, which perfectly matched her physique.
The $25 Luxe Maxi Dress (pictured) is in high demand and already sold out at multiple Kmart stores

‘What the!! Who says that to anyone!! Eight is perfect for you!’ wrote a woman
Another said, “It looks so good on you. I’m glad you didn’t fall for her trick.”
“Wow, that other shopper was brutal,” a third added.
“The things girls will say. And she was wrong too: size 8 fits like a glove,” added another.
